Tutte le condizioni di utilizzo, avvertenze e clausole

Tramite l’utilizzo dei prodotti della serie NetMaster G è possibile creare una rete LAN
basata su tecnologia Gigabit Ethernet, capace di soddisfare le applicazioni più
impegnative quali streaming multimediali (audio, video, etc) e/o trasferimento di file
di grosse dimensioni.

1. Panoramica Generale

Questo breve capoverso descrive le caratteristiche salienti degli apparati della
famiglia NetMaster SG e fornisce alcune informazioni di carattere generale sulla
tecnologia utilizzata dal dispositivo.

1.1 Tecnologia Gigabit Ethernet

Gigabit è un’estensione della IEEE 802.3 Ethernet che utilizza la stessa struttura dei

pacchetti, formato, il protocollo CSMA/CD, full duplex, controllo di flusso ma
consente un incremento teorico notevole del throughput. Anche questa tecnologia è

retrocompatibile con le tecnologie Ethernet e Fast Ethernet. L’incremento di velocità

offerto dalla tecnologia Gigabit Ethernet è essenziale in alcune applicazioni e
consente finalmente di eliminare quei fastidiosi colli di bottiglia che rallentano

l’intera LAN. La creazione di una dorsale (backbone) ad 1Gbs può avere un enorme

impatto sui tempi di risposta della rete ed aumentare significativamente la velocità
di comunicazione tra diverse subnet.

E’ finalmente possibile sfruttare in maniera propria applicazioni particolari come

quelle di videoconferenza, complesse elaborazioni su file video o immagini etc. Un
ulteriore vantaggio della tecnologia Gigabit Ethernet risiede nel riutilizzo dei cablaggi

esistenti. E’ infatti possibile usare il cablaggio precedentemente utilizzato per la Fast

Ethernet ( 4-pair UTP/STP cat 5) con la nuova tecnologia.

1.2 Tecnologia Fast Ethernet

Il continuo aumento di importanza della LAN e l’incremento della complessità delle
applicazioni che girano sui normali PC ha portato alla necessità di avere strutture
che fornissero delle performance sempre crescenti. Un notevole numero di
tecnologie diverse per LAN ad alta velocità ha visto la luce proprio per rispondere a
queste esigenze. La soluzione che si è imposta la 100BASE -T risponde a queste
rinnovate esigenze pur avendo un approccio non distruttivo con l’installato.
Nelle specifiche IEEE 802.3 LAN sono contenute tutte le caratteristiche del 100Mbs
Fast Ethernet. Questa è un’estensione del precedente standard a 10Mbs cui
aggiunge la capacità di trasmissione dieci volte maggiore, pur mantenendo il
protocollo CSMA/CD. Questo consente agli apparati conformi alla Fast Ethernet di

essere utilizzati anche in modalità Ethernet, consentendo un riutilizzo di apparati e
una migrazione graduale alla nuova tecnologia.

1.3 Jumbo Frames

Grazie alla possibilità di utilizzare Jumbo Frames sino a 7168 Bytes, invece di 1522

(comprensivi del tagging VLAN), l’intera LAN avrà un netto guadagno prestazionale
limitando sia il traffico di accesso che l’overhead di pacchetto.

Questa funzionalità va usata se tutti gli Switch della rete sono in grado di
supportarla.

1.4 VLAN

Il supporto del VLAN tagging permette di ottenere i seguenti vantaggi immediati:

 Uso della banda più efficiente
 Maggiore sicurezza
 Isolamento dei problemi

2. Caratteristiche

Gli apparati della serie NetMaster SG sono ideati per essere facilmente installati in
molteplici ambienti operativi ed offrire alte performance in un ambiente dove il
traffico della rete ed il numero di utenti sono in continuo aumento. Di seguito
vengono riportate le principali caratteristiche:

In circostanze ordinarie, il prodotto non dovrebbe essere
danneggiato dalle scariche elettrostatiche che potrebbe
ricevere dal contatto quando viene maneggiato. Tuttavia,
in talune circostanze queste cariche elettrostatiche possono
raggiungere valori notevoli e potrebbero danneggiare

irrimediabilmente il dispositivo e/o il PC. E’ consigliabile, al
fine di eliminare l’elettricità statica, toccare un corpo

metallico collegato a massa (per esempio lo chassis del PC)
prima di iniziare l’installazione. Per qualsiasi dubbio vi
consigliamo di rivolgervi a personale qualificato.

Per utilizzare la staffa a basso profilo è opportuno svitare
delicatamente le viti di fissaggio, rimuovere la staffa
installata, e sostituirla con la staffa a basso profilo. E’
consigliabile prima di iniziare questa delicata procedura, al
fine di eliminare l’elettricità statica, toccare un corpo
metallico collegato a massa (per esempio lo chassis del
PC) prima di iniziare l’installazione. Per qualsiasi dubbio si
consiglia di rivolgersi a personale qualificato.

3. Installazione

Questo capitolo fornisce informazioni generali per l’installazione e la configurazione
dell’apparato. Al fine di evitare possibili cause di danneggiamento è opportuno
leggere attentamente l’intero paragrafo prima di partire.

3.1 Contenuto della Confezione

Una volta aperta la confezione in cartone dovrebbero essere presenti:

 1 x NetMaster SG32/SGE
 1 x Low Profile Bracket
 1 x Cd-Rom contenente manuale utente e driver multisistema
 1 x Guida Utente (Italiano, Inglese e Francese)
 1 x Tagliando di garanzia (Italiano)

Qualora mancasse uno qualsiasi di questi componenti è opportuno rivolgersi
immediatamente al rivenditore presso il quale è stato effettuato l’acquisto.

Nel caso in cui l’avvio automatico sia stato disabilitato da SO,

accedere al contenuto dello stesso e lanciare l’installazione
manualmente dal percorso: <CDROM>:\A02-

SG32\Driver\<OSVer>\SETUP.EXE oppure
<CDROM>:\A02-SGE\Driver\<OSVer>\SETUP.EXE

3.2 Installazione software

Prima di collegare il dispositivo alla rete è necessario aver installato i driver. I driver,
per ogni sistema operativo, sono sistemati in diverse directory all’interno del CD­Rom fornito a corredo.

Per eseguire correttamente l’installazione dei driver e dell’utilità di gestione del

dispositivo, è consigliato seguire la procedura indicata:
 Inserire il CD-Rom contenuto nella confezione e attendere l’avvio del

programma Autorun.

 Cliccare A02-SG32 o A02-SGE per accedere alla pagina relativa al prodotto.
 Selezionare l’opzione desiderata, in relazione al sistema operativo utilizzato, per

avviare il programma di installazione del dispositivo.

3.3 Installazione hardware

 Anzitutto spegnere il PC, scollegarlo dalla rete elettrica e rimuovere il coperchio

dello chassis.

 Inserire la scheda nel connettore PCI Bus Master o PCI Express 1.0a (secondo

il modello). Premere con decisione affinché tutti i contatti siano saldamente
inseriti.

 Assicurare la scheda allo chassis avvitandola.
 Rimettere il coperchio dello chassis.
 Accendere il PC.

In alcuni programmi di Plug-n-Play BIOS può verificarsi che
venga assegnato alla scheda Gigabit Ethernet (solo per il
modello A02-SG32) un interrupt già assegnato a qualche
altro dispositivo. Il conflitto di interrupt può causare
problemi rendendo inusabili entrambi i dispositivi. In questo
caso è necessario lanciare il CMOS Setup utility e
manualmente assegnare un numero di interrupt che non
generi conflitti.

SIGNIFICATO

Link/ACT

Questo indicatore lampeggia verde quando la scheda invia
o riceve dati dalla Lan cui è connessa.

1000M

Questo indicatore è acceso Verde quando la scheda
Gigabit è connessa a 10/100/1000Mbps

Il BIOS, se Plug-and-Play compliant , dovrebbe alla riaccensione automaticamente
configurare la scheda Gigabit Ethernet .

This user’s guide tells you how to install this device and how to connect it to your
Gigabit Ethernet network.

1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet Card for 32-bit PCI
Bus-equipped personal computers (or PCI Express). The 32-bit PCI (PCI Express)
10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet Card is ideal for speeding up data transfers for
network servers and other computers, such as those used for video-conferencing,
that send and/or receive large amounts of data. The 32-bit PCI 10/100/1000Mbps
Gigabit Ethernet Card also includes the newest networking technologies, such as
multicasting support, that use network bandwidth more efficiently and further help
the card maximize data throughput.

1.1 Gigabit Ethernet Technology

Gigabit Ethernet is an extension of IEEE 802.3 Ethernet utilizing the same packet
structure, format, and support for CSMA/CD protocol, full duplex, flow control, and
management objects, but with a tenfold increase in theoretical throughput over
100-Mbps Fast Ethernet and a hundredfold increase over 10-Mbps Ethernet. Since it
is compatible with all 10-Mbps and 100-Mbps Ethernet environments, Gigabit
Ethernet provides a straightforward upgrade without wasting a company’s existing
investment in hardware, software, and trained personnel.
The increased speed and extra bandwidth offered by Gigabit Ethernet is essential to
coping with the network bottlenecks that frequently develop as computers and their
busses get faster and more users use applications that generate more traffic.
Upgrading key components, such as your backbone and servers to Gigabit Ethernet
can greatly improve network response times as well as significantly speed up the
traffic between your subnets.
Gigabit Ethernet supports video conferencing, complex imaging, and similar data­intensive applications. Likewise, since data transfers occur 10 times faster than Fast
Ethernet, servers outfitted with Gigabit Ethernet NIC’s are able to perform 10 times
the number of operations in the same amount of time.

1.2 Fast Ethernet Technology

The growing importance of LANs and the increasing complexity of desktop
computing applications are fueling the need for high performance networks. A
number of high-speed LAN technologies have been proposed to provide greater
bandwidth and improve client/server response times. Among them, 100BASE-T
(Fast Ethernet) provides a non-disruptive, smooth evolution from the current
10BASE-T technology. The non-disruptive and smooth evolution nature, and the

dominating potential market base, virtually guarantee cost effective and high
performance Fast Ethernet solutions in the years to come.
100Mbps Fast Ethernet is a new standard specified by the IEEE 802.3 LAN
committee. It is an extension of the 10Mbps Ethernet standard with the ability to
transmit and receive data at 100Mbps, while maintaining the CSMA/CD Ethernet
protocol. Since the 100Mbps Fast Ethernet is compatible with all other 10Mbps
Ethernet environments, it provides a straightforward upgrade and takes advantage
of the existing investment in hardware, software, and personnel training.

1.3 Jumbo Frames

Jumbo Ethernet frames are ones which are larger than the maximum standard
frame size of 1,522 bytes (Included VLAN tag), typically up to 7,168 bytes or more.
The rationale behind increasing the frame size is clear when considering the high
processing cost of network packets: larger frames reduce the number of packets to
be processed per second and reduce overhead.
Before enabling this option, make sure that jumbo frames are enabled on all
switches between this host and the target host(s).

1.4 VLAN

Vlan Advantages:
 Security (separating systems that have sensitive data from the rest of the

network decreases the chances that people will gain access to information they
are not authorized to see).

 Broadcasts/Traffic flow (since a principle element of a VLAN is the fact that it

does not pass broadcast traffic to nodes that are not part of the VLAN, it
automatically reduces broadcasts).

3. Unpacking and Setup

This chapter provides unpacking and setup information for the Switch.

3.1 Package Contents

Unpack the package and check all the items carefully. If any item contained is
damaged or missing, please contact your local dealer as soon as possible. Also,
keep the box and packing materials in case you need to ship the unit in the future.
The package should contain the following items:

 1 x NetMaster SG32/SGE
 1 x Low Profile Bracket
 1 x Cd-Rom contains manual and driver
 1 x Quick Start Guide
 1 x Warranty Card (Italian)

If any item is found missing or damaged, please contact your local reseller for
replacement.

3.2 Software Installation

Before you connect the 32-bit PCI 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet Card to the
network, you have to install the network driver first. Please follow these instruction
in order to install the device:

 Insert the CD-ROM and the Auto-run program will appear. Alternatively, open a

file browser and double click on the autorun.exe file located in the CD
directory. In some specific setting on Windows system, you may need to
proceed the software manually, go to your Windows Start menu and choose
Run, type <CDROM>:\A02-SG32\Driver\<OSVer>\SETUP.EXE or
<CDROM>:\A02-SGE\Driver\<OSVer>\SETUP.EXE in the dialog box
and click OK.

 Click on A02-SG32 or A02-SGE icon to select Gigabit Ethernet NIC Home

Page.

Select the right choice, depending on your operating system, and the install wizard
will begin installing the software. Follow the install wizard instructions to complete
the installation

3.3 Hardware Installation

 Shut down the computer, unplugs its power cord, and remove the chassis

cover.

 Insert the contact edge of the Gigabit Ethernet card into the connector of any

available PCI Bus Master or PCI Express 1.0a expansion slot. Press the card
firmly into the connector such that the card’s contacts are fully seated in the
connector, this card can put either in 32-bit or 64-bit PCI slot, but it is
recommended that the card to put in the 64-bit PCI slot to have the maximum
performance.

 Install the bracket screw and secure the card to the computer chassis.
 Cover the computer’s chassis.
 Switch computer power on.

Due to a fault in some Plug-n-Play BIOS programs, it
happens occasionally (A02-SG32) that a newly installed
adapter is assigned an Interrupt Number which is
already assigned to another device. In such a case, the
conflict of Interrupt Number will cause faults in the
behavior of both devices. Then it is necessary to run the
CMOS Setup utility, and manually assign a non­conflicting Interrupt Number.

If the BIOS section of your computer’s boot program is Plug-and-Play compliant,
then at power-up the BIOS will automatically configure any newly installed the
Gigabit Ethernet Card.

Ce guide permet de configurer la carte PCI Gigabit Ethernet.

1. Introduction

Avant tout merci d’avoir choisit la carte 32 bit 10/100/1000Mb/s Gigabit Ethernet

pour équiper votre ordinateur personnel. La carte 32bit PCI 10/100/1000Mb/s (ou
PCI Express) Gigabit Ethernet est idéale pour envoyer et recevoir des données d’un
serveur aux autres PC de la Lan. Des applications particulières qui nécessitent une

bande importante tireront d’énormes bénéfices de l’installation du dispositif. La

carte 32-bit PCI 10/100/1000Mb/s Gigabit Ethernet inclut de plus la technologie la
plus récente, comme le support pour le multicast (qui permet une utilisation plus
rationnelle des ressources à travers une utilisation plus efficace des bandes et
permet à la carte d’augmenter le throughput des données) et VLAN.

1.1 Gigabit Ethernet

Gigabit est un’extension de la IEEE 802.3 Ethernet qui utilise la même structure des
paquets, format, le protocole CSMA/CD, full duplex, contrôle de flux, mais qui
permet une augmentation theorique remarquable du throughput. Même cette
technologie est arrière-compatible avec les technologies Ethernet et Fast Ethernet.

L’augmentation de vitesse offerte par la technologie GigaEthernet est essentielle
dans quelques applications et permet finalement d’effacer les fastidieux blocages
qui ralente l’entiere LAN. Permet en plus l’usage des applications qui engendrent
une augmentation de trafic. La création d’un backbone à 1Gbs peut avoir un

énorme impact sur les temps de réponse de la réseau et augmenter
significatifement la vitesse de communication entre différentes sub-réseau.

Il est finalement possible d’exploiter d’une façon propre applications particuliers

comme ceux-là de vidéo-confèrence, complexes élaborations sur fichiers vidéo ou
images etc. Un ultérieur avantage de la technologie Giga Ethernet se trouve dans le
réusage des cablages existants. Il est en effet possible d’utiliser le cablage avant
utilisé pour la Fast Ethernet ( 4-pair UTP/STP cat 5) avec la nouvelle technologie.

1.2 Fast Ethernet

Les propriétés IEEE 802.3 LAN contiennent toutes les caractéristiques du 100 Mb/s

Fast Ethernet. Il s’agit d’une extension du standard précédent à 10 Mb/s qui ajoute

une capacité de transmission dix fois plus importante, tout en maintenant le

protocole CSMA/CD. Cela permet aux appareils conformes à Fast Ethernet d’être

utilisés aussi en modalité Ethernet, en permettant une ré-utilisation des appareils et
une évolution graduelle vers la nouvelle technologie.

3. Installation

3.1 Contenu de la boîte

3.2 Installation des pilotes

Avant de relier la carte 32 bit PCI (ou PCI Express) 10/100/1000 Mb/s Giga Ethernet

au réseau il est nécessaire d’avoir installé le pilote. Les pilotes, pour tous les
systèmes d’exploitation, ils sont contenus dans plusieurs directory ( CD-Rom\A02-

SG32\Drivers\Système d’exploitation ou CD-Rom\A02­SGE\Drivers\Système d’exploitation). C'est très important indiquer le parcours

correct. Le fichier HELP.com placé en revanche dans la root vous aidera à
l’installation, en vous fournissant des informations détaillés et en vous informant sur
les pilotes disponibles.

3.3 Installation physique

 Eteignez votre ordinateur et coupez le courant en enlevant le câble

d’alimentation.

 Ouvrez votre ordinateur
 Dévissez la protection d’un des slots PCI (PCI Express) libres.
 Insérez délicatement la carte PCI dans l’emplacement prévu à cet effet. Ne

forcez pas pour ne risquer pas de l’endommager.

 Après avoir correctement installé la carte (s’assurer que la carte soit bien

insérée dans le slot PCI/PCI Express), remettez la vis pour sécuriser
l’installation.

 Replacez le capot de votre ordinateur et rebranchez le courant.

Dans certains programmes de Plug-n-Play BIOS il peut

arriver qu’un Interrupt déjà attribué à un autre dispositif

soit attribué à la carte Giga Ethernet (A02-SG32). Le

conflit d’Interrupt peut être la cause de problèmes

capables de rendre inutilisables les deux dispositifs. Dans

ce cas il est nécessaire d’activer le CMOS Setup utility du
BIOS et d’attribuer manuellement un nombre d’Interrupt

qui ne génère pas de conflits.

3.4 Connexion au réseau

Vous avez également besoin d’un câble Ethernet de Catégorie 5 (Cat 5) muni de

connecteurs RJ-45. La port RJ45 de la carte est Auto-MDI, elle peut donc
fonctionner en modalité MDI-II ou en modalité MDI-X, ceci facilite le type de
connexion et permet l’utilisation de câbles aussi bien droits que croisés.

La tarjeta Gigabit Ethernet es la solución ideal para enviar y recibir datos de un
servidor de red a los otros ordenadores de la red local, llegando, en modalidad Full­Duplex, a una tasa de transmisión de 2.000 Mbps. Esta velocidad de transmisión es
especialmente beneficiosa para aquellas aplicaciones donde la red es el cuello de
botella.
Tanto su amplio buffer de memoria FIFO de 72Kbytes, reduciendo las
probabilidades de sobrecargo de memoria al transferir datos, y su control de flujo
de red, permiten una optimización de uso de la red, evitando congestiones. Gracias
a que incluye las últimas tecnologías, como su soporte del multicast – el cual
permite un uso más racional de los recursos –, el VLAN (IEEE 802.1Q), la
integración de la funcionalidad IP/TCP Checksum Offload en hardware – liberando a
la CPU de hacer este cálculo – o la funcionalidad WOL (Wake-On-Lan/ Encendido
remoto) con PCI 2.2 tanto en ACPI como en APM (Advanced Power Management),
hacen de esta tarjeta un dispositivo indispensable para cualquier usuario o empresa
que necesite mayor rendimiento en su red.

1.1 Tecnología Gigabit Ethernet

Gigabit es una extensión del estándar IEEE 802.3 Ethernet, utilizando la misma
estructura del paquete, formato, manteniendo el protocolo CSMA/CD, siendo este
full dúplex e incrementado, gracias a multiplicar por diez la velocidad del medio, la
capacidad de transmisión. El estándar ha sido concebido para ser retro-compatible
tanto con la tecnología Ethernet como Fast Ethernet. Este incremento de velocidad,
permite eliminar los cuellos de botella que se encuentran en muchas LAN,
permitiendo el uso de aplicaciones intensivas en tráfico, asi como la creación de
redes dorsales (backbone) a 1Gbps a modo de reducir los tiempos de repuesta e
incrementar las tasas de transferencia entre subredes.
Otra ventaja adicional es la posibilidad de utilizar la infraestructura existente para
Fast Ethernet, con cables UTP/STP CAT 5, si tener que, por ello, hacer una
inversión importante para la mejora que nos proporciona la tecnología Gigabit
Ethernet.

1.2 Tecnología Fast Ethernet

El continuo aumento de la comunicación entre ordenadores y la creciente necesidad
de la transmisión de datos de las aplicaciones que corren sobre estos, ha hecho
necesario que las redes que comunicaban los mismos incrementaran su capacidad.
Como solución a esta necesidad, surgió el estándar IEEE802.3, sobre el que se basa
la tecnología 100BASE-T, la que ulteriormente se impuso a finales de los años 90
como el estándar. Las especificaciones del IEEE802.3x en sus diferentes versiones,
son la base sobre la que se construyen tanto el estándar tanto Ethernet, como sus
sucesores, FastEthernet y GigaEthernet. Todos ellos comparten el protocolo
CSMA/CD, manteniendo de esta forma la retro-compatibilidad de los desarrollos
posteriores.

1.3 Paquetes Jumbo

Su capacidad de utilizar tramas Ethernet Jumbo de hasta 7168 Bytes, en vez de los
1522 Bytes – incluidos en el etiquetado (tagging) VLAN –, permite un incremento
sustancial en las prestaciones de la red, al reducir las cabeceras de los paquetes.

1.4 VLAN

Su soporte del etiquetado VLAN permite obtener los siguientes beneficios
inmediatos:

 Aislamiento de los problemas

3. Instalación

A continuación le facilitamos las instrucciones de cómo instalar y configurar su
tarjeta de red Gigabit Ethernet. Por favor, le recomendamos que lea con detalle las
instrucciones con el fin de no dañar el dispositivo.

3.1 Requisitos del sistema

Antes de proceder a la instalación del producto verifique que su ordenador dispone
de los siguientes requisitos.

 Ordenador Sobremesa con Ranura PCI 2.e o bien PCI Express
 Procesador Intel® Pentium® III 600Mhz o compatible con al menos 128 MB

de memoria RAM

 Sistema operativo Windows® 2000/XP/Vista/7, Linux y Mac OS X
 Al menos 5MB de espacio en disco duro
 Lector CD-ROM

3.2 Contenido de la Caja

Dentro de la caja debería encontrar los siguientes productos:

En ningún caso la Tarjeta de red Gigabit Ethernet de 32
bits debe de ser expuesta a descargas electrostáticas, las
cuales pueden alcanzar valores notables y dañar de forma
irreparable la tarjeta o su propio PC. Por ello, antes de
manipular la tarjeta, le recomendamos que, con el fin de
eliminar la electricidad estática, toque un cuerpo metálico
con toma a tierra, como pueda ser una tubería, o utilice
una pulsera antiestática. En caso de duda, se aconseja que
la instalación la haga personal cualificado.

Para utilizar el adaptador de perfil bajo, ha de
destornillar cuidadosamente los tornillos del adaptador y
volver atornillar el de perfil bajo. antes de manipular la
tarjeta, le recomendamos que, con el fin de eliminar la
electricidad estática, toque un cuerpo metálico con toma
a tierra, como pueda ser una tubería, o utilice una
pulsera antiestática. En caso de duda, se aconseja que la
instalación la haga personal cualificado.

3.3 Instalación de Software

Los driver para sistemas operativos de Microsoft®, incluido Vista, están ya incluidos
en el sistema operativo. Por ello, una vez que arranque el PC después de haber
instalado la tarjeta, el propio sistema operativo instalará de forma automática la
tarjeta. También lo puede hacer Vd. de forma manual, con los controladores
situados en la carpeta CDRom:\A02-SG32\Driver\Sistema Operativo
(CDRom:\A02-SGE\Driver\Sistema Operativo\) situada en el CD-ROM.

3.4 Instalación del Hardware

El esquema siguiente proporciona una pequeña introducción para la instalación de
la tarjeta PCI para la mayor parte de los PCs del mercado. Para mayor información
remítase al manual de la placa base de su ordenador.
 Apagar el ordenador y quitar la tapa para poder acceder a la ranura PCI/PCI

Express.

 Posicionar el adaptador PCI sobre la ranura y presionar hasta que quede bien

fijado.

En algunas ocasiones es posible que el BIOS del ordenador
asigne a la Tarjeta de red Gigabit Ethernet (A02-SG32) una
interrupción previamente asignada a otro dispositivo. En tal
caso es posible que este conflicto bloquee ambos
dispositivos. En este caso, deberá entrar en la BIOS de la
placa base y asignar de forma manual la interrupción a
cada uno de ellos o resetear la configuración de la BIOS.
Para mayor detalle, consulte el manual de su placa base.

 Después de fijar de forma correcta la tarjeta PCI con el tornillo, volver a

cerrar la caja del ordenador.

 Volver a encender el ordenador.
 Encienda el PC. Si su ordenador cuenta con un BIOS Plug-and-Play, debería

de configurar por si solo la configuración de la Tarjeta de red Gigabit
Ethernet.

3.4 Conexión a la Red (LAN)

Es necesario un cable con 4 parejas de hilos Cat. 5 UTP o STP con un conector RJ45
para poder utilizar la conexión de 1000Mbps.
Asimismo, las puertas son Auto-MDI, por lo que pueden funcionar en modalidad
MDI-II o MDI-X con cables tanto cruzados como rectos.
