La ringraziamo per aver scelto un apparato della famiglia NetCamera, la via più
semplice per la videosorveglianza. Questo documento è inteso come una guida
rapida, pertanto per ulteriori dettagli sulla configurazione fare riferimento al
manuale esteso contenuto nel CD.

1. PANORAMICA DI PRODOTTO

NetCamera 802D è una IP Camera Day & Night Dome fissa, con sensore CMOS da
1280x1024 pixel, completa e versatile, capace di fornire un campo visivo regolabile
praticamente da qualsiasi superficie, soffitto o muro. Il filtro ICR (manuale o
automatico) ed i led infrarossi (18 LED IR ad alta potenza sino a 15m) ne
permettono un utilizzo anche di notte mentre le funzioni di commutazione avanzate
ne consentono un impiego combinato con dispositivi di rilevazione acustici, speakers
o sonde ambientali esterne. Le immagini, che possono essere trasmesse via cavo
ethernet, sono prodotte in formato MJPEG, MPEG4 ed H264 (15 fps, 1280*1024 o
30 fps in VGA). Elevati standard di sicurezza sono garantiti dalla possibilità di
configurazione tramite protocollo https.
Il supporto dello standard PoE (IEEE802.3af) consente di alimentare l’apparato
direttamente dal cavo ethernet rendendone l’installazione estremamente comoda e
veloce.
NetCamera 802D può funzionare in modalità Pre-Alarm: al verificarsi di un evento,
rilevato tramite la funzione Motion Detection, il dispositivo è in grado di trasmettere

la registrazione dei 5 secondi che lo precedono, un’importante tutela contro atti di

sabotaggio.

NetCamera 802D rappresenta un’ottima soluzione per chi, azienda o ente locale,

cerca sistemi di video-sorveglianza efficaci e versatili e consente inoltre
videosorveglianza remota o la trasmissione di immagini/video in tempo reale su
LAN, Internet o rete cellulare (Mobile Phone 3GPP Live Video).

Software di registrazione sino a 16 canali e Windows Live MSN

Il software a corredo permette di gestire sino a 16 dispositivi (delle famiglie
NetCamera o MyCam) schedulandone la registrazione continua o su motion
detection.
Il supporto integrato a Windows Live MSN inoltre permette di chiamare
remotamente, dal proprio Windows Live Messanger, NetCamera è di ricevere
direttamente il flusso video da questa generato.

Funzionalità NVR

NetCamera infine può direttamente registrare un flusso video (su evento motion
detection o con una determinata schedulazione temporale) su una cartella
condivisa, in qualunque NAS, utilizzando i protocolli SAMBA o NFS.
Alternativamente è possibile salvare su scheda SD interna tali video/immagini.

L’utilizzo di dispositivi in grado di catturare immagini, video o

voce potrebbero essere regolamentati o completamente proibiti
in talune giurisdizioni. Potrebbe essere richiesta
un’autorizzazione.
Atlantis SpA non garantisce in alcun modo che i propri prodotti
siano utilizzati in conformità con le leggi locali ed inoltre non
può essere ritenuta responsabile per un uso improprio di tali
dispositivi.

E’ opportuno inoltre segnalare chiaramente la presenza di

dispositivi capaci di catturare immagini, video o voce.
Si ricorda infine di rispettare attentamente la legislazioni vigente
riguardante le modalità di conservazione dei contenuti video
ripresi.

Si configlia di effettuare l’upgrade del SO (Esempio: Net
Framework, Windows Media Player, Enhance ActiveX Security)

1.1 Requisiti di sistema

Prima di procedere con l’installazione del prodotto verificare di disporre dei seguenti

requisiti:

 Protocollo TCP/IP installato in ogni PC
 Un browser WEB quali Internet Explorer 6.0 o superiore (Active X), Netscape

Navigator 6.0 o superiore (solo per gestione)

 Pentium 4 1800MHz (o equivalente) con 512MB
 Scheda Grafica con almeno 64 MB RAM (o scheda on-borad equivalente)
 Windows 2000, 2003, XP, Vista, 7 oppure Mac OS X Leopard

1.2 CONTENUTO DELLA CONFEZIONE

Prima dell’utilizzo, verificare che la scatola contenga i seguenti elementi:

 Viti per il fissaggio a muro e sticker per facilitare la foratura
 Connettore a 4 PIN
 Una guida rapida multilingua (Italiano ed Inglese)
 Alimentatore AC-DC (12V@1A), max 8 W
 Cd-Rom contenente manualistica multilingua (Italiano ed Inglese), utility per

configurazione e software di Registrazione sino a 16 canali

NetCamera supporta lo standard Power over Ethernet IEEE

network. Utilizzare uno switch PoE (A02-F8PoE) oppure un
PoE Injector (non incluso).

 Dopo che il dispositivo è acceso, premere per 10 secondi o

più: per effettuare un ritorno alle condizioni di default
(utilizzare, per esempio, in caso si perdesse la password).

 Dopo che il dispositivo è acceso, premere per effettuare

un reboot di NetCamera.

NetCamera 802D è dotata di 18 IR LED (8 φ LEDs, 850nm) per
permettere riprese anche in condizioni di scarsa luminosità (sino
a circa 15 metri).

1.4 Cablaggio

Posizionamento di NetCamera: Attaccare l’adesivo con la posizione dei fori alla

superficie e fissare i 3 tasselli nel muro.
Allineare i 3 fori presenti nella base del dispositivo ed inserire le viti di fissaggio.

Alimentazione: A questo punto è opportuno decidere come alimentare
NetCamera.
 NetCamera supporta lo standard Power over Ethernet IEEE 802.3af Class 0 e

pertanto può essere alimentata via network. Utilizzare uno switch PoE (A02­F8PoE) oppure un PoE Injector (non incluso). In questo caso il cablaggio si
limita al solo cavo Ethernet responsabile sia del trasferimento dati che
passaggio della potenza.

 Alternativamente è possibile alimentare NetCamera tramite l’alimentatore AC-

DC da 12V fornito (12V DC, 1A ). NetCamera va comunque collegata alla LAN

tramite un cavo ethernet.
Una volta effettuati tutti i collegamenti il prodotto effettuerà una diagnostica la cui
durata è di circa 2 minuti.
Posizionamento dell’ottica. Sono possibili 3 settaggi differenti:

PAN/Tilt/Rotate: routare a destra/sinistra sino ad ottenere i settaggi desiderati.

In figura un esempio di installazione.

Assicurarsi che NetCamera sia ben ancorata a muro. In caso di
caduta accidentale NetCamera potrebbe guastarsi.

L’ottica non va in alcun modo esposta ad irraggiamento solare
diretto.
Il non rispetto delle condizioni di sopra potrebbe danneggiare il
prodotto e rendere nulla la garanzia.

La NetCamera è configurata per ottenere un indirizzo IP da un
server DHCP presente nella rete. Se il servizio non dovesse
essere disponibile il prodotto si posizionerà su un IP nel range

da 192.168.1.2 a 192.168.1.254, impostare quindi il PC sull’

indirizzo 192.168.1.1/255.255.255.0 per effettuare la
configurazione di base degli apparati.

Qualora non si riuscisse ad installare il controllo ActiveX (IE non
potrà mostrare il video ripreso da NetCamera). Verificare quanto
segue:
In Strumenti->Opzioni Internet->Protezioni selezionare

Internet/Intranet ed impostare il livello Medio Alto
Predefinito.

1.5 Settaggi di Default

Prima di iniziare la configurazione di NetCamera è necessario conoscere quali siano i
settaggi di default. Le configurazioni di default sono:

 Username:admin
 Password: admin
 Indirizzo IP LAN: Client DHCP

1.6 Collegamento al prodotto attraverso Intelligent IP Installer

Nella cartella IIP (solo per ambienti Windows) del CDRom fornito a corredo è
presente il software Intelligent IP Installer che permetterà di trovare le NetCamera
collegate in rete e procedere quindi alla configurazione di ognuna. Seguire i seguenti
step per accedere alla configurazione del prodotto:

 Installare il software Intelligent IP Installer contenuto nella cartella

CDRom:\\IIP del CDRom fornito a corredo.

 Lanciare il software e cliccare su Search, verranno visualizzate tutte le

NetCamera collegate alla rete.

 Selezionare il prodotto desiderato e cliccare sul pulsante Link to IE.
 Digitare admin nel campo Nome Utente e admin nel campo Password per

accedere alla schermata principale del prodotto.
 E’ opportuno consentire l’installazione del controllo Active X (al primo Login).

Cliccare sulla barra mostrata e selezionare Esegui componente aggiuntivo,

poi clicccare su Esegui.
 Proseguire nella lettura del manuale per la configurazione dei parametri

disponibili nell’ interfaccia WEB.

Disattivare o configurare opportunamente eventuali applicativi
di firewalling/antivirus presenti sul PC al fine di consentire al
software IIP di comunicare con NetCamera.

Per gli utenti del mondo Apple (usando il protocollo Bonjour) è
possibile configurare NetCamera nella seguente maniera:

 Lanciare Safari.
 Cliccare su Bonjour Function e selezionare la

NetCamera da configurare.

 Alla richiesta di Login digitare admin nel campo Nome

Utente e admin nel campo Password.

Nel browser verrà mostrata l’immagine ripresa da NetCamera.

Alternativamente in sistemi Windows (usando il protocollo UPnP)
è possibile accedere alla configurazione del dispositivo seguendo
i passaggi sotto riportati.

 (Windows 7) Cliccare su Rete, selezionare NetCamera

802D e cliccare il tasto destro del mouse e scegliere
Visualizza pagina web del dispositivo.

 (Windows Vista) Pannello di Controllo->Centro

Connessione di rete e Condivisione. Cliccare sulla

sinistra su Visualizza Computer e dispositivi.
Selezionare NetCamera 802D e cliccare il tasto destro
del mouse e scegliere Visualizza pagina web del

dispositivo.

Questo prodotto è dotato di un’ interfaccia di configurazione e controllo WEB alla

quale è possibile accedere attraverso Internet Explorer (altri browser sono
utilizzabili, ma il supporto Active X, e quindi tutte le funzionalità avanzate, è
disponibile solo in Internet Explorer).

Attraverso questa interfaccia sono possibili il controllo completo da parte dell’

amministratore di rete come anche la semplice visualizzazione delle immagini da
parte di un operatore. Accedere al manuale completo per avere una disamina
completa delle possibilità di configurazione offerte dal controllo via WEB.

1. Product Overview

NetCamera 802D is a Day & Night Fixed Dome Network Camera with a CMOS. This
device is a professional surveillance solution designed for ceiling or wall mounting
in areas affected by a strong backlight.
A built-in Infrared Cut Removable (ICR) filter can be manually applied via the web
interface, or set to automatically adjust according to lighting conditions. The CMOS
sensor, able to work also with a low light intensity of the environment, provides
clear and tidy videos with real colours in each situation (it is build with 18 high
power Infrared LEDs with up to 15m working distance and auto-changeable IR
filter inside proveds superior day/night performance). These features enables the
camera to capture crisp colour images during the daytime, and grayscale images in
low-light. NetCamera 802D uses its SoC to provide high quality real-time video
compression in H.264 (15fps@1280*1024, 30fps@VGA), MPEG-4 or Motion JPEG
formats.
Its back panel contains 2 pairs of connectors (1 input and 1 output) and allowing
the camera to communicate with different elements of a building, such as electric
doors and light switches or security related devices such as alarms.
NetCamera has an integrated 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, allowing
installation of this device in areas where power outlets are not readily available.
NetCamera 802D supports also https and Pre Alarm Buffer (5 seconds).
These features make it the ideal tool for remote monitoring/video surveillance (is
designed to operate in every working environment for enterprises or SOHO market).
NetCamera is the ideal solution for sending videos, for remote video surveillance or
for the real-time transmission of images/videos on the LAN, Internet and including
3G mobile devices (Mobile Phone 3GPP Live Video).

Bundled 16 Channel Surveillance Software & Windows Live MSN

With the included Channel Surveillance Software software, up to 16 devices can be
managed for monitoring and recording.
Messenger function provide an easy-connect feature. The user can call the
NetCamera (using Windows LIVE MSN) and remotely watch the video.

NVR Function

NetCamera can record directly video (on alarm or continually) into a shared folder
(into NAS), using Samba or NFS or directly into SD Card.

seconds or above) the device will be restored to
factory default settings (this is used when you

can not login to the camera, e.g. forgot the

1.4 Cabling

Wall mounting and Ceiling mounting

 Attach the alignment sticker to the wall/ceiling and drill two pilot holes into it.
 Hammer the supplied plastic anchors into the holes.
 Align the three holes on the base of camera with the three plastic anchors on

the wall and ceiling, insert the supplied screws to the corresponding hole and

screw them.

Connect all cables: In the end connect the AC-DC Adapter (12VDC, 1A included)
to socket then to the NetCamera (connect an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet
connector located on the Internet Camera’s backpanel and attach it to the network)
or use Power over Ethernet IEEE 802.3af Class 0 suppliers in order to send power to
the camera via the network (PoE Injector isn’t included). Once you’ve done all the
connections the product will carry on immediately a autotest (120 seconds).

To adjust the view angle- 3 axis Mechanism Design

 Turn the lens module right and left to your desired pan position.
 Turn the lens module up and down to your desire tile position.
 Turn the lens module to adjust the image orientation to satisfied angle.

Ensure the camera is fixed securely otherwise it may fall and
cause injury.

1.5 Factory Default Settings

Before you configure this NetCamera, you need to know the following default
settings:

 Username:admin
 Password: admin
 IP LAN address: by DHCP

If a DHCP server isn’t available in the network, NetCamera will
use 192.168.1.2-254 and Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 (then the
manager PC should be set at 192.168.1.1/255.255.255.0).

Before using Intelligent IP Installer, please check two settings.

 Browser’s Internet Properties → Security → Select

Default Level.

 Browser’s Internet Properties → Privacy → Uncheck

Pop-up Blocker.

Make sure NetCamera system has probably connect to the
network and search again. You might have to configure your
firewall/Antivirus or even temporarily turn it off.

Mac OS using Safari Browser:

 Select Safari icon
 Click Bonjour function and select the camera you wish

1.6 Intelligent IP Installer

To configure your NetCamera, you will need to use the web browser, enter the IP
address and then use the web configuration for further setup. To find out the IP
address (if You changed) of your device once it is connected to the network, there
is a simple way as described on the following pages.
 Power on your PC and insert the CDROM. Use the Setup utility included on the

CD (CDRom:\IIP). Please follow these steps to install this utility.
 Click the Intelligent IP Installer Icon on your desktop. The main page will

show up listing all active camera (click Search). This will list the device

automatically and allow you to access the web configuration interface. Select

the relevant IP camera from the list and click Link to IE.

 Enter your Username and Password to login to the IP Camera (default is

admin / admin).

 When accessing the IP Camera for the first time, a yellow information bar

appears below the address bar: This website wants to install some

ActiveX add-on from Atlantis SpA. Click the information bar, and select

Install ActiveX control. Click Install.

 Live video displays in the centre of your web browser.
 For more detailed instructions on configuring and using the NetCamera,

please refer to the online manual into CD.
