BUTTON OPERATION:
= On/Off Selection F/C = Fahrenheit / Celsius Selection
OPERATE THERMOMETER:
1) Insert Type K thermocouple probe into connector on top of instrument. Match
indicator marks “+” and “-” for correct polarity.
2) To turn instrument on press ON/OFF button.
3) To select Fahrenheit or Celsius temperature scale press F/C button.
4) To turn instrument off, press and hold ON/OFF button momentarily.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT:
The instrument uses (3) alkaline AAA batteries. A low battery icon will appear
in the lower right corner of the display when it is time to replace the batteries.
When the batteries are fully depleted the display will show bAtt and the unit will
shut off and not operate until new batteries are installed.
To replace batteries, remove rear battery cover by pressing in and pushing
downwards. The battery orientation is printed in the battery holder. Match the
“+” and “–” markings for correct polarity, install new alkaline batteries and
replace rear battery cover securely.
IMPORTANT: Failure to install batteries correctly can cause
damage to the instrument.
MOUNTING SCREWS: HARD SURFACES
1) Be sure desired surface is secure and intact.
2) Hold bracket vertically on wall and mark screw locations.
3) Drill a 3/32 hole approx 3/4” deep at each location.
4) Fasten bracket in place with two (2) screws provided. Do not overtighten.
Note: For drywall, use the appropriate drywall anchor for a #8 screw.
Self-drilling anchor is recommended.
MOUNTING TAPE: ALL SURFACES
1) Be sure desired surface is secure and intact.
2) Clean mounting surface (wall or other desired location) with alcohol wipe or
other cleaner, make sure surface is dry.
3) Peel off one side of tape backing and stick to bracket.
4) Peel exposed backing off of tape and stick bracket to surface.
5) Push rmly in place and hold for a few seconds.

32311 Temperature Range: -40°F to 500°F (-40°C to 260°C)
32311 Accuracy: ±1°F (±0.5°C)
32311 Resolution: Whole degree. A reading of 0.5º or higher will round up to the
next whole degree.
32311 Ambient Temperature Limits: 32°F to 122°F (0°C to 50°C)
32311 Battery Life: 4500 hours typical with alkaline batteries
32322 Temperature Range: -40°F to 1000°F (-40°C to 538°C)
32322 Accuracy: ±1°F (±0.5°C) from -40°F to 495°F (-40°C to 257°C)
±2°F (±1°C) remainder of range
32322 Resolution: Tenth degree from -40°F to 495°F (-40°C to 257°C)

TRACEABILITY:
We certify that this instrument has been calibrated to temperature and/or
electrical standards traceable to the U.S. Department of Commerce National
Institute of Standards and Technology.
CALIBRATION:
Under normal operating conditions, the unit should not require re-calibration.

ATKINS thermometers are backed by a 5-Year Instrument Warranty on defects in
workmanship and materials.

Unit Does Not Turn On:
Batteries are installed incorrectly or dead.
Check battery orientation matches picture in battery holder.
