B.1. Adjusting B all Jo int fri ctio n
Depending on t he weight of the display, it may b e neces sary to make adjustmen ts to the B all Joint Mechanism. If t he displ ay does n’t hold it s positi on or is too resistant, adjust the four tension screws located around the Ball J oint (se e diagram) using the supp lied 2.5 mm Allen Key.
Check th e display, and then a djust ag ain if necessary.
NOTE: Be sure to adjust screws evenly.
B.2 . Adju sting Pivot He ad ten sion
It is possible to control the amount of resistance in the Pivot Head to suit your display.
To increas e the res istance of the Pi vot Head to suit heavier displays, use the 5mm Allen Key supplied in the Desk Clamp Box to tig hten the interscrew in a clockwise direction.
To decrea se the re sistan ce of the Pivot Hea d to suit lighter displays, loosen the interscrew in an anti-clockwise direction.
NOTE: It is recomme nded t he Pivot Head b e left a t the factor y setting fo r best performance.
B.3. Adjus ting G as Str ut Res istance
B. 3.1 Depending on the weight of the display,
it may be n ecess ary to a djust th e arm. This can be done by using the supplied 5mm Allen Key.
B.3.2. If the arm tends to automat ically r ise or fall when the display is attached, it will be necessar y to make small adjustments to the gas stru t. (see dia gram)
B.3.3. If the arm tends to rise, the gas strut position should be raised. If the arm tends to fall, the g as strut posit ion shou ld be lowe red.
