3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Basic Uses:

Perimeter Edge Trim coping and fascia are
engineered systems applied to the edge of
a roof to weather proof the perimeter of low
slope roong systems. These systems include
Embedded Fascia – Box Style, Embedded
Fascia- Gravel Stop Style, Edge-Lok Fascia,
Rapid-Lok Fascia and Rapid-Lok Coping.

Composition and Materials:

Embedded Fascia – Box and Gravel Stop Styles,
and Rapid-Lok Fascia are available in .040 and
.050 Aluminum; 24 gage Metallic Coated Steel.
Edge-Lok Fascia is available in .050 Aluminum;
24 gauge Metallic Coated Steel. Rapid-Lok
Coping is available in .050 and .063 Aluminum;
24 gauge Metallic Coated Steel.

Size:

Standard lengths are fabricated to 10’-0”.
Consult the ATAS Order/Specication forms for
specic sizes.

Color & Finish:

A choice of 30 colors is available in KYNAR
500® PVDF or HYLAR 5000® PVDF nish. Clear
anodized Aluminum is also available. Texture
may be smooth or stucco embossed.

5. INSTALLATION

Embedded Fascia system: uses a continuous
pattern of oset holes in the roof ange
through which two plies of modied bitumen
roong membrane can be bonded to each
other. Roong plies bond together through
metal ange to create exceptional seal.
Edge-Lok Fascia system: is a decorative metal
fascia with a continuous metallic coated steel
spring cleat designed to terminate single-ply
roong at the perimeter.
Rapid-Lok Fascia system: Features a two­piece design with a snap-on fascia and rigid
termination bar to assure wind and water stay
out of the roof membrane.
Rapid-Lok Coping system: is a snap-on coping
designed specically for parapet walls. The
20 gauge metallic coated steel hold down
cleat has pre-punched fastener holes for quick
installation.

6. AVAILABILITY AND COST

Availability:

Perimeter Edge Trim is available through

ATAS product distributors. A complete line of
related components is available to complete
the Perimeter Edge Trim System. In addition, a
complete line of rainware can be supplied by
ATAS to complement the project.

7. WARRANTY

Products coated with a uoropolymer, KYNAR
500® PVDF or HYLAR 5000® PVDF nish carry
a thirty (30) year limited warranty against
cracking, peeling, chalking and fading.

8. MAINTENANCE

Perimeter Edge Trims are virtually
maintenance free. Surface residue is
easily removed by conventional cleaning
methods. Minor scratches my be touched
up with matching pain, available from ATAS
International, Inc.
