sensitive electronic, electrophotographic, and mechanical devices. Therefore, it is imperative that you choose the right working environment for your printer. Avoid places that would expose the printer to dust, grease, extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity. Make sure that the site you choose is well ventilated. An environment considered suitable for a stereo system or television should also work well for your laser printer. Always place the printer on a firm, level surface.

CONTROLLER
COMMAND SUMMARY
The
ATARI parallel DMA bus interface of the interface of the xerographic printer engine. The SLM ler,
providing device-independent command interpretation and control of
printer operations.
Bus communication follows a defined host-initiated dialog sequence
consisting of a COMMAND PHASE,
Data transfers are asynchronous and follow a Data Request/Acknowledge handshake protocol, with one byte of data transferred during each hand-
shake. Note that the controller contains a two-byte FIFO which is loaded prior to the transfer
The host which is receiyed during send the controller a parameter list during PHASE.
