Safety Instructions

This product complies with all applicable US federal safety requirements, as well as those of the Canadian Standards Association.
1. Cleaning
Always unplug the TV before cleaning. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean.
2. Water and Moisture
Do not use this TV near water. Avoid using this TV in an excessively damp environment.
3. Stand
This TV should always be placed on a solid, sturdy surface.
4. Ventilation
To prevent overheating, do not block or obstruct the vent openings on the TV’s back panel. Also, avoid placing this TV in a confined area with poor air flow.
5. Power Sources
This TV should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label. If you are not sure of The type of power supply to your home, consult your electronics retailer or local power company.
6. Power Cord Polarization
This TV is equipped with a three-wire grounding type plug, a plug with a third (grounding) pin. As a safety feature, this plug will only t into a grounded power outlet. If you are unable to insert the plug into the outlet, contact your electrician to replace the obsolete outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the grounding-type plug.
7. Power Cord Protection
Power-supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them. Pay particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the TV.

To protect the TV during a lightning storm, or when it is left unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna or cable system. This will prevent damage to the TV from lightning and power-line surges.

9. Outdoor Antenna Grounding
If an outside antenna or cable system is connected to the TV be sure the antenna or cable system is grounded so as to provide some protection against voltage surges and built up static charges. Article 810 of the National Electri­cal Code (U.S. A.), ANSI / NFPA 70 provides information with regard to proper grounding of the mast and supporting structure, grounding of the lead-in wire to an antenna discharge unit, size of grounding conductors, location of anten­na-discharge unit, connection to grounding electrodes, and requirements for the grounding electrode.

Charging the Battery
This portable tevelvision has a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The battery can be charged by either the AC 100-240V to DC 12V Power Adapter or the 12V Auto / Boat Adapter.
Before using the television it is recommended to completely charge the battery by following the steps below.
Home Electrical Outlet Use:
1. Plug the supplied AC 100-240V to DC 12V Power Adapter Jack into the 12V DC Input (15).
2. Insert the wall plug of the Power Adapter into an electrical wall outlet.
3. The Power Indicator LED (7) will turn ON during charging.
4. Once the battery is fully charged the Power Indicator LED (7) will turn OFF.
Auto-Boat Outlet Use:
1. Plug the supplied 12V Auto-Boat Power Adapter Jack into the 12V DC Input (15).
2. Insert the car-boat outlet plug of the Power Adapter into a 12V car-boat outlet.
3. The Power Indicator LED (7) will turn ON during charging.
4. Once the battery is fully charged the Power Indicator LED (7) will turn OFF.
NOTE: A “LOW BATTERY!” message will flash on the TV screen when the battery needs to be charged.

NOTE: For the TV to Charge using the Auto / Boat Adapter / Charger, the TV must be turned OFF.
Installing the Base

1. Remove the two screws from the top of the Extension Arm.
2. Locate the metal plate on the bottom of the Extension Arm. Turn the Disc below the metal plate counterclockwise to create space between the disc & plate.
3. Slide the metal plate into the channel on the rear of the TV. Secure the Extension Arm to the rear of the TV by turning the Disc clockwise.
4. Turn the TV Base upside-down and locate the two small screw holes in the opening at the bottom of the base. Insert the two screws from Step 1 into the holes using a magnetized phillips head screwdriver or needle-nose pliers.
5. Using a phillips head screwdriver attach the TV Base to the Extension Arm.
6. If necessary the Tilt & Helght of the TV can be adjusted.
Adjust Tilt: Turn the Tilt Adjustment Knob counterclockwise. Adjust the Tilt angle of the TV. Turn the Tilt Adjustment Knob clockwise to lock.
Adjust Height: Turn the round Disc between the TV and the extension arm counterclockwise. Slide the TV Base up or down the Channel on the rear of the TV. Turn the round disc clockwise to lock.
