4. Warning
Electrical equipment may be hazardous if misused. Operation of this product, or similar products, must always be supervised by an adult. Do not allow children access to the interior of any electrical product and do not permit them to handle any cables.
Permanent hearing loss may occur if earphones are used at high volume. It can be damaging to your hearing. If you experience ringing in your ears, reduce the volume or discontinue use of the player.
If the player is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the battery to avoid damage caused by battery leakage and corrosion.
Vibration experienced during walking or exercising will not affect the player. However, dropping the player or
dropping a heavy object on the player may result in
damage or sound distortion. Avoid spilling any liquid onto or into the player,
immediately switch off the power and or disconnect from computer then contact an authorized service center or a
qualied & registered electrician for assistance.
Do not leave the player in a location near heat sources;
in a location subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust,
sand, moisture, rain or mechanical shock; on an uneven surface; or in a vehicle with excessive heat.

8. Charging the Battery
This MP3 player is equipped with a rechargeable Ni-MH battery.
1. Place the player on a at surface.
2. Take out the USB charging cable and
connect it to the mini USB jack of the
player. Then connect the USB cable to an available USB port on your computer for recharging the battery.
3. The preset recharge cycle is around 2 hours and it will cease when the charge cycle is complete.
4. The battery indicator will stop ash when the recharge cycle is
complete.
5. And now the player is ready to use for around 6.5 hours music playing in Play mode or 8 hours in Screen saver mode.

9. Basic Operation
Listening to Music
1. Connect the earphones to the earphone/line in jack.
2. Slide the HOLD switch to “OFF” left.
3. Turn the player on by pressing and hold the Play/Stop button.
4. Press the Menu key and select “Music” menu.
5. To select previous or next music by switching menu key.
6. To adjust volume by pushing Volume + and Volume – key.
7. Slide the HOLD switch to the lock position, the HOLD indicator will appear in the display and there will be no function when you press the buttons.
8. This is useful when you do not want the track/FM station changed by accidentally pressing a button. Slide the HOLD to the unlock position to cancel the HOLD function.
9. Press and hold the Play/Stop button for turn on or off the player.
10. Menu operation
Long press for entering Menu Turn the Menu button left or right for selecting the mode between
Navigate, Music, Voice, FM radio, Record, Setting, Delete, Info, Exit.
11. Navigate menu
Navigate menu is the function used to search tracks, You can select a song or voice track to play.
Switch on the player by pressing and hold the Play/Stop button, press the Menu key for entering main Menu. Another press into Navigate menu. Turn left or right of the Menu key for scrolling up and down, select a song or voice track to play from the FM folder or Voice folder.
Press the Play/Stop button for playing the song or voice le.
You can resume to main Menu by pressing the Vol + button or pressing
the Vol – to delete a song or voice track.

13. Voice menu
Voice menu is playing back voice message /FM radio recordings/ Line in recordings from the player.
Switch the Menu key ►► forward or ◄◄ backward to select voice
message /FM radio recordings/ Line in recordings. Press “Play/Stop” button to play and stop by pressing the button again.
The recorded le will be saved as a WAV le, if no le, it will show “No
Files” as picture two.

14. FM Tuning Menu
Radio menu is for a function to listen the FM radio. Push the Menu key for different modes: Radio, Scan, Store, Record,
Exit.
Radio mode
Listen to the radio station, use Menu key ►► forward or ◄◄
backward for searching station.
Scan mode
Auto scan and memory the strongest stations up to 27 stations can be memorized.
Store mode
Conrm to store the scanned stations from scan mode, then resume
to Radio mode.
Record mode
Record FM radio by pressing Play/Stop button, press the Play/Stop button again for pause recording.
The recorded le is saved in V001.WAV and saved in the FM folder
under the Navigate manual.
Exit mode
Back to play back music.

16. Setting Menu
Setting menu is a function of EQ, Play mode, Screen saver, Power set, Record set, Languages setup.
EQ mode:

select the EQ: Normal, Rock, Jazz, Classic, POP, D-Base, Jive, Vocal

Info mode:
Press Menu key to enter, switch ◄◄ backward or ►► forward to Info mode. It shows the rmware version (VER); built in memory (INT) and
showing available memory for storage (FREE).
Exit
It will exit setting and back to play back music.
17. Connecting to computer
Connect the player to PC using the USB cable to download/upload
les to/from PC. The player is recognized automatically as a movable
disc in the Windows ME/2000/XP. However you have to install the driver contained in the CD to make it automatically recognized in the Window 98SE.
Connect to the USB ports of computer directly. Press Play/Stop button for connecting, the “READY” message appears on the OLED as below.

A “Removable Disk” window will automatically pop up on your PC.
To add more les and songs to your player simply drag and drop MP3, WMA, WAV or data les anywhere on your computer into the “Removable Disk” window. During les transferring, “Reading”
message appears and it will disappear after data transfer or stop.
When you are nished the process, read the Safely Remove Hardware
procedure before disconnecting the player. Safely Remove Hardware procedure from the computer: Note: To avoid damage to your player or data loss, always follow the
procedure listed below before disconnecting the USB cable from your computer or disconnecting the player from the USB cable.
Using your mouse, double click the “Safety Remove Hardware” icon on the task bar.
From the “Safety Remove Hardware” window, select “USB Mass Storage Device” and click the “Stop” Button. The “Stop a Hardware Device” window will pop up, Click “OK” when the “Safe to Remove Hardware” window is displayed. You may remove the player from the USB cable or remove the USB cable from the computer.
Note: If the “Safety Remove Hardware” icon is not displayed on the task bar, please double click on My Computer. Right click on
“Removable Disk” and lift clock on “eject”. Then it is safe to remove
the player from the computer.

18. Trouble Shooting Guide
Symptom Solution
Player will not turn on Battery is weak or not installed
properly, recharge the battery and install properly.
Hold switch is in the lock position, slide switch to the Unlock position.
No buttons work Hold switch is in the lock position, slide
switch to the Unlock position.
Turn off few second after switching On
Battery is weak, recharge the battery.
No sound Earphones are not inserted, please
insert earphone. Volume is set too low, raise the volume using the VOLUME + button.
Cannot playback MP3 songs
The MP3 les are corrupted, download uncorrupted les.
Characters in display are corrupted
Check the Language and conrm
whether the right language has been selected.
No play time display The MP3 song was creating in VBR
format, so VBR info replace the play
time. Re-compress the MP3 song in x
rate, it will solve the play time problem.
The computer is not recognizing the player
The USB cable is not securely connected. Make sure USB cable is securely connected.
Driver is not installed or computer is not compatible. Install driver for PC with Window 98SE.

Uploading or downloading not stable
Please check the compatibility of the PC or try with another PC.
Player in malfunction Switch off to reset the player or
reset the unit by press the both Vol +
and Vol – button at once
Power FM reception Adjust the position of the player and
earphones. Turn off the power of other electric
devices nearby the player. Earphones function as the antenna.
The memory show at Info mode is less than listed
Player reserved certain hidden memory for system operation. It is not a problem.
