Toswitchonthee-bookreaderholdtheON/OFFbutton attheleftmostpositionforthe3seconds.Firstthelogo­type «ASSISTANT» thanthemainmenuwillappear.To turnoffthereaderholdtheON/OFFbuttonattheright­mostpositionuntildevicewillbeturnedoff.Inthatcase the screensaver «ASSISTANT» will appear. Ifthedeviceisnotoperatingforasometimethepower willbeautomaticlyswitchedoffaccordingtothescreen­savertime(see «Setting» - «Timing shutdown»).

Keylockingfunctionisavailableatanytimeoftheope­ration.Tolockthedeviceoravoideoccasionablepres­suresturnoffthelockkeyonthetoppanelintoaright­mostposition.Turn the key back to unlock the device.
Chargingofthe e-bookreader
Fullychargethe battery before the firstusing. ConnectthedevicetothePCviaUSB-cabelortothe powergrid 220V via adapter. Timeoffullchargingviaadaptertakes2.5hours,via USB-porttakes5hours.Itdependstothelevelofbat­terycharging.Durationoffirstbatterychargingshould take at least 2.5 hours.

Donotturnonthedischargeddeviceimmediatelyafterthe beginningofbatterycharging.Waitatleastforaminuteand then switch on the battery.
