Multiple Wire Terminal Blocks
The increase in control
circuit wires combined
with the need to reduce
component costs has led to
the design of terminal
blocks that can accept
multiple wires each with
its own independent
clamp. The ASI Twin and
ASIUDK series
accomplishes the task of
individually terminating
two, three or four wires in
one terminal block of the
same circuit without the
need for costly bridges.
If your application calls
for distributing power,
having redundant
controllers or system
components or connecting
multiple devices in the
same circuit then a simple
wiring solution can be
either the ASI Twin or
ASIUDK series. Wires up
to a maximum of a 6 awg
can be terminated
independently in these
convenient low-cost
terminal blocks.
If you are currently using
a similar series from
Phoenix Contact you will
see that the dimensions,
accessories, materials and
design features are exactly
the same, making
substitution quick, easy
and cost-effective. The
housings are of low
UL94V0 material while
the terminal block metal
bodies feature a nickelplating over a copper
alloy.
