Pocket receiver 912T
912T is a robust pocket text receiver used in system 900. The receiver has a two-line display and shows 2 x 12 characters at the same time. It can receive messages of up to 120 characters in each message. The receiver has a memory for 10 messages with altogether 480 characters. Six call numbers can be programmed and five of them can be enabled/disabled. The pocket receiver is designed for use in tough environments and where there is a need for long text presentations.

Basic functions
Turning the receiver ON
One short press shown in the display.
Turning the receiver OFF
Two long presses on the Function button.
Scrolling through messages
One short press
Erasing messages
One long press on the Function button until ******** appears.
Accepting a message
One short press on the Function button, stops flashing.
Replacing the battery
1. Turn off the receiver.
2. Unscrew the screw with a coin and remove the cover.
3. Replace the battery and close the cover. It will take up to 10 seconds before the receiver starts up.
Battery replacement of EX-version is not permitted in restricted area.
Long messages
The 912T can receive long messages with a maximum of 10 lines. A message with more than two lines is marked with The message scrolls automatically, but when it stops, it can be started again by a short press on the Function button.

Function settings
When the identity is shown in the display, one long press on the Function button will access the function settings. A short press on the button scrolls between function settings and a long press confirms the choice.

Sub-menu functions
• Changes the beep signal volume
• Shows the call number
• Enables/disables the 5 extra paging numbers
• Shows time stamp
• Reminder beep for unacknowledged pagings
• Rotates the display 180°
• Programmable via radio
• Exit to identity mode
One long press enables/disables.
Note that your 912T may not have all these functions.
Call diversion
Pagings, originally intended for someone else, can be received by your 912T by either five extra paging numbers, or when the call has been automatically diverted to your receiver. The original number is shown at the end of the message.

Absence indication
When the receiver is placed in a storage/charging rack with absence indication, anyone paging the receiver automatically receives indication of absence. The person sending the paging is thus informed that you cannot be reached at present.
Out of range/Error indication
When the symbol is displayed, together with the words WEAK SIGNAL, you are probably outside the coverage area. The symbol disappears when the receiver is within the coverage area again.
The symbol is also shown if the internal error monitoring function identifies an error.
Battery
If you are using a rechargeable battery, make sure to regularly place the receiver in a charging rack, for example every night. In combination with EX-version use approved battery types only.
