1 Safety
Keep the instruction manual for future use. Should a third party be given the appliance, please ensure the instruction manual is included.
1.1 General safety
• Never use the appliance in the bath, shower or over a wash basin filled with water; nor should it be operated with wet hands.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or let it come into contact with water, even during cleaning.
• Do not use the appliance near water in bathtubs, wash basins or other vessels.
• If the appliance is used in the bathroom, it is es- sential that you unplug it after use, as any water close to the appliance can still pose a hazard, even if the appliance is switched off.
• If not already in use, installing a residual current- operated protective device (RCD) is recom­mended for additional protection with a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA in the electrical circuit of your bathroom. Ask your electrician for advice.
• Never place the appliance on soft cushions or blankets during operation.
• Ensure the air intake and outlet openings are not covered during operation.
• The appliance is equipped with an overheating protection system.
• Unplug the appliance after use. Do not discon- nect the plug by pulling on the cord. Place the appliance on a heat resistant surface and allow it to cool down.
• Never use the appliance if it or the power cord is visibly damaged.
• Never wind the power cord around the app- liance, as this can result in damage. Check the power cord and the appliance regularly for visible damage.
• Our Arçelik Household Appliances meet app- licable safety standards, thus if the appliance or power cord is damaged, it must be repaired or replaced by a service centre to avoid any dangers. Faulty or unqualified repair work may cause danger and risks to the user.
• Always keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
• The appliance should not be used by the fol- lowing persons, including children: those with limited physical, sensory or mental capabilities and also those with a lack of experience and knowledge. This does not apply to the latter if they were instructed in the use of the appliance or if they use it under the supervision of a per­son responsible for their safety. Children should always be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Do not dismantle the appliance under any cir- cumstances. No warranty claims are accepted for damage caused by improper handling.
• A warm flow of air is required to achieve a per- fect result. Please note that a metallised brush can become extremely hot during prolonged or intensive use. To avoid injury, please adjust the usage time of the device to the accessory being used.

• Danger of suffocation! Keep all packaging mate- rials away from children.
• To ensure safe operation of the appliance, do not modify the safety features in any way.

1.3 Environmental note
This product has been made from high-quality parts and materials which can be re-used and recycled.
Therefore, do not throw the product away with normal household waste at the end of its life. Take it to a collection point for recycling electrical and elec­tronic devices.

In this way it protects stressed hair, activates the colour brilliance of the hair and provides for luxurious shine.
• Fashionable and flexible styling for a smooth, sleek look, shaped ends, as well as soft cascad­ing waves and curls.
• Lock function prevents accidental temperature alterations.
• Individual temperature control in 8 settings, from 140°C to 210°C, suitable for any type of hair (fine, nor­mal, thick).

The appliance has individual temperature control

from 140°C to 210°C. The appliance is ready to
use after about 60 seconds. Depending on the hair structure,
we recommend the following settings:
• For fine, porous, coloured, bleached hair: 140°C
- 160°C.
• For normal hair: 170°C - 190°C.
• For strong, resistant, thick hair: 200°C - 210°C.
