Set up a OnePass® to record every episode of your favorite programs, team names or
sports, all season long, even if the time changes. You can also tailor your OnePass to
record every episode or just every new episode.
EXP IS ALL ABOUT PLEASANT DISCOVERIES
Finding the things you love is a snap with a WishList® search. Have a subject, title,
actor or director you’re curious about? Just set up a WishList and choose to
auto-record to match your WishList search with recordings in your My Shows list.

in 30-second increments. Press

FAST-FORWARD
Fast-forwards through
a show. Press up to three
times for three speeds .
RECORD Starts recording
the show you’re watching, or
sets up a recording for a show
selected in the progra m guide.
CHANNEL UP/DOWN Change
the channel and page up or
down while in the prog ram
guide or TiVo menus.
ARROWS Navigate TiVo
menus and program guid e.
EXIT Leave your current

DISCOVERY BAR
The Discovery Bar is the bar of images at
the top of TiVo Central and most other
screens. It helps you find shows based on
shows you rate with the THUMBS UP and
THUMBS DOWN buttons on your remote.
Press the UP arrow to move up to the
Discovery Bar, then the LEFT and RIGHT
arrows to choose an item. Press the SELECT
button to open an information screen
about that item.
WHAT TO WATCH NOW
What to Watch Now helps you sort
through your viewing options by
showing you what’s available to watch
right now in an easy-to-use format.
Choose from shows currently airing on
live TV, live sports events, movies, and more!
TIVO SUGGESTIONS: TIVO KNOWS WHAT YOU LIKE!
Based on the ratings you give to shows and movies, TiVo Suggestions
automatically selects and records shows you might like and puts
them in “Suggestions” folders in your My Shows list. To turn
off automatic recording of TiVo Suggestions, from TiVo Central ,
select SETTINGS & MESSAGES > SETTINGS > RECORDING > TIVO
SUGGESTIONS. When automatic recording is on (the default se tting),
TiVo Suggestions may be recorded if there’s available space.
Recordings you schedule will never be deleted to make room
for Suggestions.

from a show’s Information screen. You can
even choose options like new only .
SEARCH: FIND WHAT YOU
LOVE TO WATCH
From TiVo Central, select FIND TV, MOVIES
& VIDEOS, then select SEARCH. Enter a few
letters of the show title or actor name, and
the EXP interface searches across TV and
the Internet to find matches.
GUIDE: FIND OUT WHAT’S ON
Press the GUIDE but ton on your remote
to find out what’s on now, and what’s
coming up. Use the arrow keys to move
around the guide. Press the CHANNEL
UP/D OWN button to page up or down,
and press ADVANCE to move 24 hours
ahead and REPL AY to move 24 hours back.
WISHLIST® SEARCHES:
FIND SHOWS THAT MATCH
YOUR AREAS OF INTEREST
Search by actor, d irector, keyword or
category, and every time a match is found,
it’s recorded for you. From TiVo Central,
select FIND TV, MOVIES & VIDEOS,
then select WISHLIST SEARCHES.
