PROCEDURE:
1. REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.
2. From underside of vehicle, remove factory tow hooks if equipped. NOTE: Tow hooks may not
be mounted in conjunction with the Grille Guard. If vehicle is not equipped with factory tow hooks, cutout the sections of the bumper intake as shown in Figure 1.
3. Starting on the driver side of the vehicle, remove the two bottom factory nuts located at the front of the frame rail and the factory bolt near the front end of frame rail (Figure 2)
4. Attach driver side Frame Bracket to vehicle using the factory bolt and nuts removed in step three (Figure 3). Fully tighten at this time.
5. Insert driver side Grille Guard Bracket through front of tow hook cavity or cutout cavity, then partially hang it from already installed Frame Bracket using the included (2) 12mm x 35mm Hex Head Bolts, (2) 12mm Lock Washers, (2) 12mm Hex Nuts, and (4) 12mm Flat Washers
(Figure 4). Do not tighten at this time.
6. Repeat steps 3 – 5 for passenger side Lower Mounting Brackets.
7. Locate the two factory bolts on each side of the radiator support. Remove the outside bolt on each side of the radiator support (Figure 5).
8. Open the hood and slide Top Brackets through gap between the front bumper and the radiator
support (Figure 6). Align Top Brackets with previously removed factory bolt mounting locations. Secure Top Brackets to vehicle using the factory bolts removed in step seven
(Figure 7).
9. With help position Grille Guard on the outside of Grille Guard Brackets. Use the included (4)
12mm x 35mm Hex Head Bolts, (4) 12mm Lock Washers, (4) 12mm Hex Nuts, and (8) 12mm Flat Washers (Figure 8 & 9). Do not tighten at this time.
10. Attach Grille Guard to Top Brackets using the included (2) 10mm x 25mm Button Bolts, (2) 10mm Lock Washers, (2) 10mm Hex Nuts, and (8) 10mm Flat Washers (Figure 10).
11. Adjust Grille Guard properly; and then tighten all hardware at this time.
12. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.
To protect your investment, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to
add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives that could damage the finish. For stainless steel: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish. Mild soap may be used also to clean the Grille Guard.
For gloss black finishes: Mild soap may be used to clean the Grille Guard.
