PROCEDURE:
1. REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIO NS
CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.
2. Staring on the Drivers left side front: from underside of vehicle remove the front body mount bolts. Do
not remove bushings, select the driver’s side front bracket from the list of parts above and attach the
bracket with the factory body bolt as seen in (Fig 1). Snug but do not tighten at this time.
3. Locate and remove the Drivers side middle body mount bolt, Do not remove bushings, select the
driver’s side middle bracket from the list of parts above and attach the bracket with the factory body
bolt, Snug but do not tighten at this time.
4. On the inner rocker panel insert the U bolt through the upper oval hole and back down through the
round hole, attach the driver’s side brace bracket to the U bolt with the (2) 10mm nuts, attach the lower
part of bracket to the middle mount bracket with (1) 10mm x 30mm hex bolt (1) 10mm flat washer & (1)
10mm nut, Snug but do not tighten at this time. (Fig 2 & 2A) shows location for U bolt and brace
bracket placement.
5. Moving to the driver’s side rear remove the body mount bolt, do not remove bushing, select the driver’s
side rear mount bracket and secure it with the factory body mount bolt as done in steps 2 & 3 Snug but
do not tighten at this time.
6. Next select driver side bar and begin to secure the brackets to the bar with the, (2) 2 bolt plates & (1) 4
bolt plates. Place the (2) 2 bolt plates inside of the tubes with the studs facing downward one at each
end of tube and the (1) 4 bolt plate in the middle (Note: the bolt plates slide along the inside for
alignment to mount brackets) next lay the sidebar onto the mount brackets and line-up the (3) bolt
plates with the mount brackets secure each bolt plate to the mount brackets with 6mm flat washer &
6mm lock nuts, as seen in (Fig 3) Snug but do not tighten hardware at this time.
7. Level and adjust Side Bar, then tighten all hardware at this time.
8. Repeat steps 2-7 for Passenger Side Bar.
9. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.
To protect your investment, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to add a
protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives that could
damage the finish.
For stainless steel: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish. Mild
soap may be used also to clean the Sidebar.
For gloss black finishes: Mild soap may be used to clean the Sidebar.
