PROCEDURE:
1. REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIO NS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION. DO NOT ATTEMPT INSTALLATION ALONE; PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO THE TRUCK MAY RESULT.

2. Starting on the passenger side-front of the vehicles cab, remove the tape (if any) covering the factory mounting hole on the passenger side inner rocker panel located by the front tire, as seen in (Fig 1) NOTE: depending on vehicles year you may not have a nut welded into the rocker panel if this is the case please Select the 8mm clip nut and slide it into place as seen in (Fig 6) (Note: depending upon your vehicle the factory hole may be too small for the clip nut, file the sides until you are able to mount the clip nut) Select the Mounting Bracket. Position the Mounting Bracket up and into place, Secure it with (2) 8mm x 30mm hex bolts, (2) 8mm flat washers, (2) 8mm lock washers & (1) 8mm hex nut as seen in (Fig 2) Snug but do not tighten hardware at this time.
3. Moving to the passenger side-middle of the vehicles cab NOTE: For Reg Cab models there are only front & rear brackets needed middle brackets will be discarded. remove the tape (if any) covering
the factory mounting hole on the passenger side inner rocker panel, as seen in (Fig 3) NOTE: depending on vehicles year you may not have a nut welded into the rocker panel if this is the case please Select the 8mm clip nut and slide it into place as seen in (Fig 6) (Note: depending upon your vehicle the factory hole may be too small for the clip nut, file the sides until you are able to mount the clip nut) Select the Mounting Bracket. Position the Mounting Bracket up and into place, Secure it with (2) 8mm x 30mm hex bolts, (2) 8mm flat washers, (2) 8mm lock washers & (1) 8mm hex nut as seen in
(Fig 4) Snug but do not tighten hardware at this time.
4. Next for the passenger side-rear of the vehicles cab, remove the plastic plug covering the factory
mounting hole on the passenger side inner rocker panel, as seen in (Fig 5) Select the 8mm clip nut and slide it into place as seen in (Fig 6) (Note: depending upon your vehicle the factory hole may be too small for the clip nut, file the sides until you are able to mount the clip nut) next select the mounting bracket and position the Mounting Bracket up and into place, Secure it with (2) 8mm x 30mm hex bolts, (3) 8mm flat washers, (2) 8mm lock washers & (1) 8mm hex nut as seen in (Fig 7) Snug but do not tighten hardware at this time.
5. Select the passenger sidebar from the list of parts above, select (3) bolt plates place them inside of the tubes with the studs facing downward (Note: the bolt plates slide along the inside for alignment to mount brackets) next lay the sidebar onto the mount brackets and line-up the (3) bolt plates with the mount brackets secure each bolt plate to the mount brackets with (4) 6mm flat washer & (4) 6mm lock nuts, as seen in (Fig 8) Snug but do not tighten hardware at this time.
6. Level and align Sidebar properly; then tighten all hardware at this time.
7. Repeat Steps 2 - 6 for Crew Cab driver/left side Frame installation or steps 2,4,5,6 for Reg Cab installations.
8. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.
To protect your investment, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to add a
protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives that could damage the finish. Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish. Mild soap may be used also to clean the sidebar.
