PROCEDURE:
1. REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIONS
CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.
2. Starting with the driver/left side from underside of vehicle, remove the two bolts holding the
driver factory tow hook, then remove tow hook from vehicle and set aside.
3. Determine driver side Mounting Brackets. NOTE: Refer to Figure above for bracket
configuration. With the tow hook removed, from behind factory bumper, slide driver side
Mounting Bracket through factory tow hook cavity, as shown in (Fig 1) Insert factory tow hook
back into frame. Secure Driver Mounting Bracket to frame using the same bolts to install the
tow hook as shown in (Fig 2). Snug but do not tighten at this time.
4. Repeat step 1-3 for Passenger/right side Mounting Bracket.
5. Open the hood and using a flat screw driver remove the ten push pin fasteners from plastic
shroud located on top of the radiator. Passenger/right side shown in (Fig 2) Remove plastic
shroud and set aside. With the shroud removed locate the tab of the bumper on the bottom
inner of the grill as shown in (Fig 4)
6. Select the top bracket support, Position top bracket support through the bumper and grill
opening, secure each side using the (2) 10mm Hex bolt (2) 10mm flat washers and (2) 10mm
lock washer to the factory bumper tab as shown in (Fig 5) snug but do not tighten at this time.
7. With help position Grille Guard on the outer side of Mounting Brackets. Align holes on the
Mounting Brackets with holes on the Grille Guard. Attach Grille Guard to Mounting Bracket
using the included (6) 12mm x 35mm Hex Head Bolts, (6) 12mm Nuts, and (12) 12mm Flat
Washers and (6) 12mm lock washers (Fig 6). Snug but do not tighten at this time.
8. Select the driver side Upper top brace bracket and slide the brace brackets threw the grill
securing it to top brace supports with (1) 10mm bolt, (1) 10mm flat washer and (1) 10mm lock
washer as shown in (Fig 7) Snug but do not tighten at this time.
9. Secure grille guard to Top Brace Brackets using the included (2) 10mm x 30mm Button Head
Bolts, (2) 10mm Nuts, (2) 10mm lock washers and (4) 10mm Flat Washers as shown in
(Fig 8). Snug but do not tighten at this time.
10. Level and adjust Grille Guard, then tighten all hardware at this time.
11. Reinstall the plastic shroud back onto vehicle with the plastic push pins.
12. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.
To protect y
our investment, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to
add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives
that could damage the finish.
For stainless steel: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish.
Mild soap may be used also to clean the Product.
For gloss black finishes: Mild soap may be used to clean the Product.
