Installation Instructions

Parts List
2 – Frame mounting brackets 2 – top mounting brackets
6 – 7/16 x 1 ¼” hex bolts 6 – 7/16 hex nuts
12 – 7/16 flat washers 4 – 3/8 x 1” Hex bolts
4 – 3/8 Hex Nuts 10 – 3/8 Flat washers
2 – 5/16 x 1” hex bolts 2 – 5/16 x ¾” hex bolts
4 – 5/16 hex nuts 2 – ¼ x ¾ screws
2 – ¼ hex nuts

Installing front bar

1. Remove factory bottom plastic balance underneath vehicle

2. Attach the passenger side assembly. Remove the factory bolt on the frame
channel. Once the bolt is removed, align the passenger side bracket with the three
matching holes in the frame channel as shown in illustration. Attach using the 3/8
x 1” hex bolts, 3/8 hex nuts, 3/8 flat washers, 5/16 x 1” hex bolts and 5/16 nuts.

3. Attach the front bar assembly to the inner side of the lower brackets using the
7/16 x1 ¼” hex bolts, 7/16 hex nuts and 7/16 flat washers.

4. Install top support brackets. Open hood to expose existing holes. Locate holes
and line up top support brackets. Align as shown in illustration. Attach using the
5/16 x 3/4 “ Hex bolts and 5/16 hex nuts. Align the other end of top support
bracket to the arms of the front bar attaching using the ¼ x ¾ screws and ¼” hex
nuts.

5. To re-attach the factory bottom plastic balance use a utility knife and carefully cut
slots in the plastic balance to fit around the frame mounting brackets or remove
and discard.

6. Align the front bar assembly with the front of the vehicle and tighten all fasteners.

Position this direction

Attach to arms using the ¼ x
¾ screws

Attach this end to the existing
hole under hood

FRAME

5/16 x 1” Hex bolt

use a 3/8 flat washer inner side of the channel

(No washer required on the outside)

Remove factory bolt

7/16 x 1 ¼ Hex bolt

3/8 x 1” Hex bolt

Note: remove factory bottom plastic balance.

Cut slot in the plastic balance to reattach
