INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

4042 CHEVROLET’/GMC

PARTS LIST

(1) FRONT ARIES BAR (6) 7/16” X 1 ¼” HEX BOLTS
(2) FRAME BRACKETS (6) 7/16” HEX NUTS
(2) BRACE BRACKETS (12) 7/16” FLAT WASHERS
(4) ¼” X 1 CAP SCREWS (4) ¼” NYLOCK NUTS

INSTALLATION OF BOTTOM FRAME BRACKET
Remove tow hooks from front of vehicle.
Using the bolts that held the tow hooks in place (two bolts per hook) attach the mounting
brackets as per diagram1 below. Don’t fasten too tightly to allow for adjustment.

INSTALLATION OF BRACE BRACKETS
Remove 3 bumper mounting bolts from the front of the frame and the 2 side support
bracket bolts from each side of the vehicle. Lower the bumper so you can see upper
bolts that secure the bumper to the bumper mounting brackets. Position large hole of
top bracket to upper bumper bolt. Replace the bumper to its original position and
position small hole of the brace bracket to the middle plate of the front bar. Adjust
bracket bolts, replace bumper and tighten all bolts.

INSTALLATION OF FRONT BAR
Line up the 3 holes on the lower portion of the front bar with the 3 holes on the frame
mounting brackets (outer edge). Using the 7/16” hex bolts, nuts and washers, fasten the
front bar to the mounting brackets, leaving loose for adjustment.

NOTE
AFTER ONE WEEK.
