PROCEDURE:

1. REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ
INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.

2. Starting at the Passenger/Right side-front of the vehicle, remove the front factory 12mm body

bolt & washer. From the list above select the Passenger/Right side front mounting bracket and
secure to vehicle with (1) factory 12mm Hex Bolt, (1) 12mm Flat Washer, (1) 12mm Lock
Washers (Fig 1). Snug but do not tighten hardware at this time.

3. Moving to the Passenger/Right side middle of the vehicle, remove the front factory 12mm body
bolt & washer. From the list above select the Passenger/Right side Middle mounting bracket
and secure to vehicle with (1) factory 12mm Hex Bolt, (1) 12mm Flat Washer, (1) 12mm Lock
Washers (Fig 2). Snug but do not tighten hardware at this time

4. Remove the passenger/Right side rear factory 12mm body bolt, from the list above select the
Passenger/Right side rear mounting bracket and secure it with factory (1) 12mm Hex Bolt, (1)
12mm Flat Washer, (1) 12mm Lock Washers (Fig 3) Shows bracket attached. Snug but do not
tighten hardware at this time.

5. 2000-10 Silverado HD crew cab & 2000-10 Sierra HD crew cab-- With the rear mount brackets
installed, select the brace bracket and place it up to the factory support. Secure it by placing
(1) 10mm x 30mm Hex bolt, (1) 10mm flat washer (from the back), followed by the 10mm x
25mm OD flat washer. Place this in the factory large hole (as a shim) followed by a 15mm x
43mm OD x 2.8mm washer, (1) 10mm lock washer, and (1) 10mm nut. (Fig 4 shows
bracket attached). Secure the other end of the brace bracket to the mounting bracket with
the (1) 10mm x 30mm hex bolt, (2) 10mm x 30mm OD flat washer, (1) 10mm lock washer, and
(1) 10mm nut. (Fig 4A shows bracket attached). Snug but do not tighten hardware at this
time.

Remove the plastic plug covering the factory rear hole in the passenger side inner panel. This
is located by rear mounting brackets (Fig 5 shows location of hole). Partially thread a Plastic
Retainer onto the threaded end of a bolt tab. Once you have assembled the Plastic Retainer,
onto the Bolt tab, insert into the factory hole. Once the bolt tab is inserted, hold the bolt end
with one hand and tighten the Plastic Retainer with your other hand. NOTE: Tighten the
Plastic Retainer until it reaches the side panel. Once done attach the passenger side brace
bracket on to the bolt tab with (1) 10mm x 30mm, OD flat washer, (1) 10mm lock washer, and
(1) 10mm nut (Fig 5A shows Bolt tab installed). Secure the other end of the brace bracket
to the mounting bracket with (1) 10mm x 30mm hex bolt, (2) 10mm x 30mm, (1) OD flat
washer , (1) 10mm lock washer and (1) 10mm nut (Fig 5A shows bracket attached). Snug but
do not tighten hardware at this time.

7. Select the Passenger/Right sidebar and secure to all mounting brackets with the (6) 10mm x
30mm hex bolts, (6) 10mm lock washer, and (6) 10mm flat washer (Fig 6 shows side bar

attached to all brackets). Snug but do not tighten hardware at this time.

8. Level and align Sidebar properly, and tighten all hardware at this time.

9. Repeat steps 2-8 for Driver/left sidebar.

10. Do periodic inspections to make sure all hardware is secure and tight.
