INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1999-10 FORD SUPER DUTY S/B CREW 4 DOOR (FULL BAR)
PART # 363006 / 363006-2
Hardware kit includes:
16 – Hex head bolts (8mm x35mm)
16 – Lock washers (8mm)
16 – Flat washers (8mm)
16 – U – clips (8mm-1.25)
Installation Instructions
STEP 1: Read and understand instructions completely before beginning installation.
STEP 2: Attach U-clips(4) to inside pinch weld of truck. Each bracket takes 4 (See #4 item).
STEP 3: Loosely bolt front bracket to side of pinch weld using hex head bolts (1),lock (2) and flat(3)
washers. Thread hex head bolts (5) through U-clips (4) as shown.
STEP 4: Loosely bolt rear bracket to tack side of pinch weld using hex head bolts (1),lock (2) and flat(2
washers. Thread hex head bolts (2) though U-clips (4) as shown.
STEP 5: Position STEP BAR.
Loosely fasten STEP BAR to front bracket using the hex head bolt (5),lock(7) and flat (6)
washers as shown. Leave bolts very loose only thread a few rotations.
Mount step bar to rear mounting bracket using hex head bolt(5),lock(7) and flat (6) washers
as shown. Thread into riv nut on the bottom of the step bar.
Adjust position of step bar and tighten all bolts.
STEP 6: Check fit and alignment.
Torque the 8mm x 35 mm bolts to 14 ft/lbs, and the 10mm x 30mm bolts to 29 ft/lbs. Do not use
impact tools. Note: The black plastic caps on the ends of the nerf interior bars prevent interior
rusting and eliminate scoring on the face of the brackets. Do not remove!
8 – Hex head bolts (10mmx30mm)
