PROCEDURE:
1. REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ
INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.
2. Starting on the driver side front of the vehicle, remove the two rubber plugs in the floor panel
located by the pinch weld. Locate the factory threaded hole in the front of frame rail.
NOTE: The threaded hole lines up with the rubber plugs in the floor panel (Figure 1 & 2).
3. Position one of the driver side Mounting Brackets up to vehicle. NOTE: There are four holes
in the inside mounting location of the Bracket. Align inside rear hole to threaded hole in the
frame rail, and then align outside mounting location of the Bracket to previously removed
rubber plug locations. Use the included (3) 8mm x 35mm Hex Head Bolts, (3) 8mm Lock
Washers, and (3) 8mm Flat Washers to partially mount Bracket to vehicle (Figure 2, 3 & 4).
4. Repeat steps 2 -4 for driver side rear Bracket. NOTE: There are two threaded holes in the
rear of frame rail. Use the two outside holes in the Bracket to mount it to frame rail
(Figure 5, 6 & 7).
5. Position driver Sidebar onto Mounting Brackets and attach it using the included (4) 10mm x
30mm Hex Head Bolts, (4) 10mm Lock Washers, and (4) 10mm Flat Washers (Figure 6).
6. Align Sidebar properly, and then tighten all hardware at this time.
7. Repeat steps 2 - 6 for the passenger Sidebar.
8. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.
To protect your investment, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to
add a protective layer over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain
abrasives that could damage the finish.
For stainless steel: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the
