Installation Instructions Front Bar Part # 2048

1 – Front Bar 6 – ¼ x ¾ screws 2 – Top Brackets 6 – ¼ Hex Nylock Nuts 2 – Frame Brackets 6 – 7/16 x 1 ¼ Hex bolts 6 – 7/16 Hex nuts 14 – 7/16 Flat washers

Installing the frame brackets
2) Remove factory tow hooks (but do not discard the factory bolts). The bolt pattern on the frame mounting brackets will be positioned in manner shown in the illustration (passenger shown). Attach frame brackets using the factory bolts.
Installing the Front Bar
3) Line up the three holes on the lower portion of the front bar with the three holes on the frame brackets (outer edge) using the 7/16 x 1 ¼ hex bolts, 7/16 hex nuts and 7/16 flat washers to fasten the front bar to the frame brackets. Top portion of the front bar will line up with the holes on the center brush guard plate (under) using the ¼ x ¾ screws and ¼ hex nylock nuts to fasten the front bar.
4) Remove the revets located underneath the vehicle in order to install the L-support brackets. Attach L-support brackets using the ¼ x ¾ screws and ¼ hex nylock nuts and 7/16 x 1 ¼ hex bolts, 7/16 hex nuts, 7/16 flat washers (use same 7/16 x 1 ¼ hex bolts attaching frame brackets to front bar)
5) Once the front bar is attached to all mounting brackets align the left and right side of the front bar to the bumper and tighten all fasteners.
Note: It is advisable to re-check all fasteners for tightness after one week.
Mount frame brackets to the existing factory tow hooks bolts (reverse tow
hook on passenger side)
Use 7/16 x 1 ¼ hex bolts
