Important - Please read these instructions fully before starting assembly
Warning: This unit weighs approximately 28kgs. Please lift with care.
• Check you have all the components and tools listed on pages 2 and 3.
• Remove all fittings from the plastic bags and separate them into their groups.
• Keep children and animals away from the work area, small parts could choke if swallowed.
• Parts of the assembly will be easier with 2 people.
• Make sure you have enough space to layout the parts before starting.
• Do not stand or put weight on the product, this could cause damage.
• Assemble the item as close to its final position (in the same room) as possible.
• Assemble on a soft level surface to avoid damaging the unit or your floor (use opened out unit carton).

Care and maintenance
• Only clean using a damp cloth and mild detergent, do no use bleach or abrasive cleaners.
• From time to time check that there are no loose screws on this unit.
• This product should not be discarded with household waste. Take to your local authority waste disposal centre.
Note: If required the next page can be cut out and used as reference throughout the assembly. Keep this page with these instructions for future reference.
• We do not recommend the use of power drill/drivers for
inserting screws, as this could damage the unit. Only use hand screwdrivers.
Safety note: It is recommended that this unit is secured to a wall using the bracket supplied.
• Dispose of all packaging carefully and responsibly.

Prepare the 2 top uprights
Tap 2 short wooden dowels into each of the top uprights as shown.
Note: The short wooden dowels must not stick out from the edge by more than 10mm or they may damage other panels.

Join 3 shelves to a top upright
Position 3 shelves against a top upright as shown.
Tap 6 long wooden dowels through the top upright and into each of the shelves .

Prepare the middle shelf
Insert 4 large locking nuts into the middle shelf as shown.
Note: The arrow on the locking nut must point towards the hole in the edge of the panel.

Fit the middle shelf
Position the middle shelf . onto the assembly as shown.
Tap 4 long wooden dowels through the middle shelf and into the bottom of the 2 top uprights .

Prepare the left side
Screw 2 metal dowels into the left side .
Note: Tighten metal dowels up fully against the panels.
Tap 2 short wooden dowels into the left side as shown.
Insert a large locking nut into the left side . .
Fit the shelves
Push the shelves onto the top uprights and bottom uprights as shown.
Note: Make sure that all of the shelves have the finished front edge pointing upwards.

Fit the left side
Push the left side onto the assembly.
Use a screwdriver to tighten the 2 large locking nuts fitted to the middle shelf .
Note: Turn the large locking nuts as far as they will go - more than 1/2 a turn.

Fit the base to the assembly with 8 screws . and tighten them using the allen key .

Fix the bracket in the middle of the top , flush to the back edge, using screw .

Step 17
Fit the top
Push the top onto the assembly.
Use a screwdriver to tighten the 2 large locking nuts fitted at the top of the left side and right side .
Turn the assembly over for the next step.
Step 18
Fit the backs
a: Square up the unit by
making sure that measurement x:x equals
y:y.
b: Place the 3 backs
down onto the unit as shown.
Make sure that the 3 backs are pushed up tight against each other and that they meet in the centre of the upright panels’ back edge.
Only nail around the outside edges of the 3 backs .
c: Using 12 screws ,
screw down between the 3 backs and into the upright panels’ back edge.
Stand the unit up for the next step.

Secure unit to a wall
To prevent possible overbalancing we recommend that this unit is secured to a suitable wall by use of the metal bracket fitted under the top of the unit.
Fixings are not supplied as they will need to suit the wall type, and the length of screw will depend on the distance of the back of the unit to the wall.
Warning: Take
care when drilling the wall that you do not drill into any pipes, wires etc. If in doubt, consult an expert.

Fit the top
Push the top onto the assembly.
Use a screwdriver to tighten the 2 large locking nuts fitted at the top of the left side and right side .
Turn the assembly over for the next step.
