Important - Please read these instructions fully before starting assembly
Warning: This unit weighs approximately 31.5kgs. Please lift with care.
• Check you have all the components and tools listed on pages 2 and 3.
• Remove all fittings from the plastic bags and separate them into their groups.
• Keep children and animals away from the work area, small parts could choke if swallowed.
• Parts of the assembly will be easier with 2 people.
• Make sure you have enough space to layout the parts before starting.
• Do not stand or put weight on the product, this could cause damage.
• Assemble the item as close to its final position (in the same room) as possible.
• Assemble on a soft level surface to avoid damaging the unit or your floor (use opened out unit carton).

Care and maintenance
• Only clean using a damp cloth and mild detergent, do no use bleach or abrasive cleaners.
• From time to time check that there are no loose screws on this unit.
• This product should not be discarded with household waste. Take to your local authority waste disposal centre.
Note: If required the next page can be cut out and used as reference throughout the assembly. Keep this page with these instructions for future reference.
• We do not recommend the use of power drill/drivers for
inserting screws, as this could damage the unit. Only use hand screwdrivers.
Safety note: It is recommended that this unit is secured to a wall using the overbalance kit supplied.
• Dispose of all packaging carefully and responsibly.

Prepare the desktop
Screw 2 small metal dowels into the holes shown on the desktop .
Note: Tighten the small metal dowels up fully against the panels.
Turn the desktop over
Screw 4 small metal dowels into the desktop .

Prepare the tall upright
a: Push 4 hollow core
locking nuts into the tall upright , making sure that they are flush against the panel’s surface. Using a hammer, tap in the pin on the hollow core locking nut .
Note: The pin should be tapped in flush with the top surface of the hollow core locking nut .
Turn the tall upright over
b: Screw 2 metal
dowels into the tall upright .
Note: Tighten the metal dowels up fully against the panels.

Fit the tall upright to the desktop
Push the tall upright onto the desktop .
The 2 hollow core locking nuts fitted to the tall upright must slide over the 2 small metal dowels fitted to the desktop .
Insert a screwdriver into the 2 hollow core locking nuts and turn the nuts inside as far as they will go.

Prepare the 3 small uprights
Push 4 hollow core locking nuts into the each of the 3 small uprights , making sure that they are flush against the panel’s surface. Using a hammer, tap in the pin on the hollow core locking nut .

Important:
The mid shelves and base panel are very similar. For identification, the mid shelves have 2 through-holes.
Important:
The small uprights and the bottom shelf are very similar. For identification, the 3 small uprights DO NOT have 2 through-holes drilled near the back edge.
The holes on this side are through-holes.

Fit a small upright to the mid shelf
Push a small upright onto the mid shelf .

Prepare the 2 modesty panels
Insert 4 large locking nuts into each of the modesty panels .
Note: The arrow on the locking nut must point towards the hole in the edge of the panel.

Push 2 hollow core locking nuts into the fly end , making sure that they are flush against the panel’s surface. Using a hammer, tap in the pin on the hollow core locking nut .

Fit the fly end
Push the fly end onto the assembly.
The 2 hollow core locking nuts fitted to the fly end must slide over the 2 small metal dowels fitted to the desktop .
Insert a screwdriver into the 2 hollow core locking nuts and turn the nuts inside as far as they will go.
Use a screwdriver to tighten the 4 large locking nuts fitted to the 2 modesty panels .
Fit the 2 modesty panels
One at a time, push the modesty panels , onto the tall upright and the bottom upright .
Use a screwdriver to tighten the 4 large locking nuts fitted to the 2 modesty panels.
Note: Turn the large locking nuts as far as they will go - more than 1/2 a turn.

Fit the overbalance protector
To prevent possible overbalancing we recommend that this unit is secured to a suitable wall by use of the overbalance protector kit . fitted to the unit or, an alternative fixing method of your choice.
Wall fixings are not supplied as they will need to suit the wall type.
Note: Take care when drilling the wall that you do not drill into any pipes, wires etc. If in doubt, consult an expert.
