Safety and Care Advice
Important - Please read these instructions fully before starting assembly
Warning: This unit weighs approximately 35kgs. Please lift with care.
• Check you have all the components and tools listed on pages 2 and 3.
• Remove all fittings from the plastic bags and separate them into their groups.
• Keep children and animals away from the work area, small parts could choke if swallowed.
• Parts of the assembly will be easier with 2 people.
• Make sure you have enough space to layout the parts before starting.
• Do not stand or put weight on the product, this could cause damage.
• Assemble the item as close to its final position (in the same room) as possible.
• Assemble on a soft level surface to avoid damaging the unit or your floor (use opened out unit carton).
• We do not recommend the use of power drill/drivers for
inserting screws, as this could damage the unit. Only use hand screwdrivers.
Safety note: If there is any chance of this unit being pulled over by children etc. it is recommended that the unit is secured to a wall using suitable fixings (not supplied).
• Dispose of all packaging carefully and responsibly.

Care and maintenance
• Only clean using a damp cloth and mild detergent, do no use bleach or abrasive cleaners.
• From time to time check that there are no loose screws on this unit.
• This product should not be discarded with household waste. Take to your local authority waste disposal centre.

Step 2
Prepare the 2 large drawer fronts
Screw 2 metal dowels into each of the large drawer fronts .
Note: Tighten the metal dowels up fully against the panels.

Prepare the pair of large drawer sides
Insert a small locking nut into the hole shown on the large left drawer side and the large right drawer side . .
Note: The arrow on the locking nut must point towards the hole in the edge of the panel.

Attach the large drawer sides to the large drawer fronts
Push the large left drawer side and large right drawer side onto the back of the large drawer front .
Turn the small locking nuts on the large left drawer side and large right drawer side .
Note: Turn the locking nuts clockwise to secure panels - more than 1/2 a turn.

Fit the drawer bases
Slide the drawer base down the grooves in the large drawer sides and and down into the groove in the large drawer front .

Fit the large drawer backs
Fit the large drawer back . between the large drawer sides and . Make sure that the drawer base fits into the groove in the large drawer back .
Hold the large drawer back in position and tap the knock-in pegs through the holes in the large drawer sides and .

Attach the handles
Attach a handle to each of the large drawer fronts using screw .

Fit the wedgefixes
Turn the 2 large drawer assemblies over and slide 2 wedgefixes into the front and back grooves, as shown, and tighten up the screws.

Turn the small drawer assembies over and slide 2 wedgefixes into the front and back grooves, as shown, and tighten up the screws.

Attach a handle to each of the small drawer fronts using screws .

Screw 6 metal dowels into the underside of the top .
Screw the bracket onto the top , 300mm in from either end and flush to the back edge, using screw .

Join the sides to the top
Note: To make the assembly easier, place polystyrene blocks from the packaging underneath the side panels to raise them up.
Push the left side and right side onto the top .
Use a screwdriver to tighten the 4 large locking nuts fitted to the left side and right side .
Note: Turn the large locking nuts as far as they will go - more than 1/2 a turn.

Fit the upright
Note: The 2 large locking nuts can be on either surface of the upright.
Push the upright onto the top .
Use a screwdriver to tighten the 2 large locking nuts fitted to the upright .
Note: Place polystyrene blocks underneath the upright.

Prepare the base
Note: Do not use the holes nearest the edge of the panel to fit the feet.
Fit the 5 feet to the base using screws and tighten them using the allen key .
Note: You may find it easier to turn the foot as the screw is held with the allen key.

Fit the base
Fit the base to the upright and side panels and using 6 screws .

Fit the back
a: Square up the unit by
making sure that measurement x to x
equals y to y.
b: Place the back
onto the unit.
Nail around the outside edges of the back , leaving 2 to nail into the back edge of the upright.
Note: Nails should be spaced out evenly.
Stand the unit up for the next step.

Secure unit to a wall
To prevent possible overbalancing we recommend that this unit is secured to a suitable wall by use of the metal bracket fitted to the top .
Fixings are not supplied as they will need to suit the wall type, and the length of screw will depend on the distance of the back of the unit to the wall.
Warning: Take
care when drilling the wall that you do not drill into any pipes, wires etc. If in doubt, consult an expert.

Fit the drawers
Starting with the large bottom drawers, slide both the runners forward and locate the drawer sides between them, lining up the holes in the drawer wrap with the 2nd 'threaded' holes in the runners .
Working from the inside of the drawer, insert 2 screws through the drawer sides and out into the 2nd threaded hole in the runner.
Assembly is complete
Note: Do not overtighten the screws . If they catch on the runners you may need to loosen them slightly.
