Specifications: 0-10,000 psi; -65-400° F; 150,000 cPs, white color; 4 hour cure for pressure
testing. Typical applications are in sealing of all types of metal threaded connections against
water, potable water, gas, oil, grease, and most common materials conveyed by pipes.
It is extensively used on pressure vessels, air compressors, hydraulic systems, tanks, etc. for
positive vibration proof sealing.
DO NOT USE WITH PTFE TAPE OR PIPE JOINING COMPOUNDS WITH SUPERDOPE.

Super-Dope® Anaerobic Thread Sealant
DESCRIPTION
Super Dope Pipe Sealant is an easy to use pipeline sealant which sets fast to give an instant low pressure seal of 100 psi and a high pressure
seal when fully cured. Unlike solvent based pipe dopes, Instant Pipe Sealants cures anaerobically, therefore, has no solvents leaking out of the
sealant, leaving behind leak paths. Finally, it provides 100% sealing capability and does not shrink when curing to allow failure at a later date.
APPLICATIONS
Typical applications are in sealing of all types of metal threaded connections (up to 2 inches) against water, oil, grease, and most common materials
conveyed by pipes. Compatible with pipe containing liquid propane.
It is extensively used on pressure vessels, air compressors, hydraulic systems, tanks, etc. for positive vibration proof sealing.
Superdope is compatible with Sprinkler Systems that include AntiFreeze Solutions such as Propylene Glycol and Glycerin when installed per NFPA
Standards.
NOT SUITABLE FOR USE WITH OXYGEN OR CHLORINE
USEFUL HINTS/NOTES
Where cure speed is extended due to low temperatures or inactive surfaces, activator can be used. Best results are found if Instant Pipe Sealant is
applied to 2nd or 3rd threadforms. Excess can be wiped away, any migration into lines will not solidify and can be flushed away during commissioning.

Ensure parts are clean, dry and free from oil and grease.
PROCEDURE FOR APPLICATION
Product is normally hand applied from the tube or brushed onto threads.
COMPATIBLE ACCELERATORS/PRIMER
Primers such as (Primer T) can be used. However, up to 30%
strength loss can occur when using primers.

GENERAL INFORMATION
This Product is not recommended for use in: pure oxygen, oxygen rich
systems or for chlorine or other strong oxidizing material environments.
Normally not recommended for plastic. (particularly thermoplastic materials)
where stress cracking of the plastic could result.
HEALTH & SAFETY IN USE
IRRITANT: Contains Methacrylate Esters which can irritate the eyes,
the respiratory organs and the skin. In case of contact with the skin, wash immediately with plenty of water.
