ABOUT YOUR AQUA-VU SPOOL

With your Aqua-Vu Spool underwater viewing system you will become an aquatic explorer much like a skin diver
— but without getting wet! Swim your camera over the bottom landscape of your fishing grounds while watching
"what’s really down there." Or, with camera suspended down a hole in the ice, see how approaching fish react to
your bait.

Your Aqua-Vu Spool system is equipped with a daylight viewable LCD (liquid crystal display) screen that allows
you to see the screen in direct sunlight from anywhere in the boat. The black and white version (SP-80) features
Nature Vision Inc.’s Temp-Tech display, which shows the water temperature at the depth of the camera. A sensor in
the camera sends continuous water temperature readings to the lower right portion of the monitor display. You
see bottom, fish, and water temperature simultaneously!

However you employ your Aqua-Vu unit — for pure fun as a discovery tool, for learning while fishing and
observing nature, for watching small children or pets, or for security purposes — you will experience a
fascinating new "view." Your eyes will be glued to the monitor screen!

The Aqua-Vu Spool is available in black and white (SP-80) or in full color (SPC-80.)

IN YOUR AQUA-VU SPOOL PACKAGE . . .

The package contains Aqua-Vu Spool components. You’ll be viewing-ready in a few minutes!

• Monitor (weatherproof; attached to the wind up spool; tilts up and down for convenient viewing)

• Spool with handle (allows cable and camera storage; tillable monitor attaches to it)

• Anti-spooking, fish-simulating camera with 12 LED lights and 80-foot cable

• Battery (12-volt. 1.2-amp)

• Battery Charger

• Cigarette Lighter Power Cord

• Ballast Weights (for open-water viewing)

• Front-viewing Fin (keeps camera forward-looking as it’s pulled through the water)

• Soft custom carrying case

• Spool handle extension (located in the base of the Spool)

EASY SETUP

1. Place the charged battery into the battery well located on the back of the spool, with battery terminals towards
the springs on the bottom of the battery well. To secure the battery in place, replace the battery cover. See
battery and charger information below.

You may also power the Aqua-Vu Spool via the cigarette lighter power cord accessory that plugs into a cigarette
lighter in vehicle or boat. Connect the power cord to the jack labeled "12-volt power" above the battery compart­ment. The unit can operate off any 12-volt power source. CAUTION: REMOVE THE INTERNAL 12-VOLT 1.2 AMP
BATTERY WHEN POWERING THE UNIT WITH THE CIGARETTE LIGHTER POWER CORD.
Improper connections will blow the 2 amp blade-style fuse. (The fuse is located at the bottom rear of the monitor.)
