1.1. Remove the four screws from the base part
of the cuplex kryos NEXT (marked with “1” in the
figure) and lift off the base part.
1.2. Remove the set screws accessible below the
base part from the outlying threads (marked with
“2” in the figure). Skip this step for acrylic and
RGBpx versions of the cuplex kryos NEXT.
1.3. Pull the retention plates from the water
block housing.

2.1. Slide the new retention plates into the recesses of the water block housing.
2.2. Secure the retention plates by installing the set screws into the outlying threads of the water
block housing. Skip this step for acrylic and RGBpx versions of the cuplex kryos NEXT. Attention:
The set screws must only be slightly tightened by hand! Excessive force may warp and damage
the water block housing, especially so with the acetal version!

3.1. If the gaskets have been lifted off the water block housing during disassembly, insert the gaskets into the corresponding grooves of the water block housing. The gaskets must be perfectly
aligned with the grooves!
3.2. Place the base part on top of the water block housing and secure it using the countersunk
head screws removed in the first step. Attention:
without using excessive force!
