4. Installation and configuration guide
4.1 Before Installing
1． Do not use the player in exceptionally cold, hot, dusty, damp or dry environments.
2． Do not drop the player while using it.
3． Please charge your battery when:
A. The system automatically shuts down and the power is quickly off when you switch on the
unit once again
B. There is no response if you operate on any key
4． Please do not disconnect power abruptly when the player is being formatted or in the process
of uploading or downloading. Otherwise it may lead to program error.
5． When this unit is used as a removable disk, the user shall store or export files in the proper
file management operation method. Any improper operation method may lead to the loss of
files, for which this company will not be held liable.
6． Please do not dismantle this unit by yourself. If there is any inquiry, please contact the dealer.
7． There will be no separate notice in the case of any change in the functions and performance
of this product.

4.3 Instructions for Use
1. Connect the player to computer through USB cable included in packing.
2. Copy WMA or MP3 audio files to the player from computer.
3. Disconnect the player from computer.
4. Put your earphone into ear bud port of the player.
5. Start the player by switch "Power" button from "OFF" to "ON".
6. Short press the " / " key to choose the PREV/NEXT music.
7. Short press the "+/-" key to control the volume up/down

4.5 USB and Charging
Connecting the computer and data file transmission
Start the computer and then connect the unit with the USB port of the computer using the
connection line. In this way you can perform USB power supply or USB data transmission. This
unit and the computer can be connected using the USB interface, and can be used as a
removable disk. All you do is put your favorite files in the player without the procedures of any
third party.

LED Indication
The player has a built-in rechargeable Lithium battery. It can be charged by computer or DC
adaptor. When the player is connected to a computer, the status indicator starts flashing
indicating that charging in progress, when the status indicator stops flashing and a sustained light
appears, it indicates that the charge has been completed

Power adapter is a key component of the portable player, which play a crucial role in keeping the
portable player’s normal work and protecting your security when using the player, a long-term
customer surveys and after-sales service. Practice shows that the malfunction of the portable
player in many cases was caused by using inappropriate accessories, in particular the power
adapter.
Using the substandard power adapter will shorten the life of the portable player considerably, the
voltage instability will seriously affect the normal work of the portable player and bring permanent
damage on the player’s performance and reliability, using the substandard power adapter will
also reduce the vocal quality of the players, shutting down the player when used. In addition, the
use of the substandard power adapter will cause combustion and explosion which will affect the
safety of the consumers.

4.7 Upgrade Player Driver
The firmware is a built-in program, with which you can run various hardware functions. By
upgrading the firmware, you can improve or enhance the performance and functions of the
player. No upgrading the firmware will not affect the normal operation of the player itself.
The upgrading of firmware may lead to the unit being unable to work properly due to error
operation. Please read carefully the instructions for upgrading before doing so.
Operation Procedures
Note: Before upgrading, make sure the player has enough electricity, in order to avoid upgrading
failures because of the lack of electricity, which can result in the player not working properly.
4.8 Formatting the Moving Disk
In case that you are unable to read or write in the operation of the player, please use the format
tools of Windows to format the player so as to recover the read and write operation of the file
system. However, it is seldom the case where the player is unable to read and write.
Generally, you can use the shortcut formatting to delete all files kept in the memory.
Before formatting, please do the following preparatory work:

Connect the player to the USB interface of the personal computer.

Back up useful data in the player.
Procedures for operation
1. Connect the player to the USB interface of a personal computer.
2. Double click on the icon of "My Computer" to open the window of My Computer. Select the
"Removable Disk".
3. Use the right key of the mouse to single click on the "Removable Disk" to select “Format”.
4. Single click on the "Start" button.
5. Pop up the Warning window, and select the "OK" button.
6. Start formatting.
7. After the formatting is over, single click on the "OK" button.
8. To exit formatting, single click on "Close" button.
Caution: Be sure to be careful while formatting, no files will be able to be recovered after
formatting.

4.9 Common troubleshooting
1. Products cannot be opened.
Check the battery. If the battery is discharged, please use the provided adaptor to charge the
battery and then retry. Based on the discharging state, the charging of full battery needs some
time. If there is no product response, please RESET the unit. Note that RESET will be
disconnected, but it will not influence the product.
2. No sound.
Check whether the voice is set to "0". If it is so, please control it to your favorite position. Check
whether there is any playing source on the product. If there is no playing source on the product,
there will be no output of sound.
3. Playing Noise
The damaged music files may utter noise, or discontinued sound output. Check whether the
earphone is connected. If there is impurity in the jack/terminal in the earphone, then there is
noise.
4. The time for playing the files in the connected memory is shortened.
Compared with the files in the built-in memory, it requires more sources while playing the files on
the external memory of MP4. Therefore, if the product playing is respectively saved in the same
file in the memory and the outside memory and the built-in memory, the time for playing the
former may be shortened.
5. Unable to download files
Make sure that the computer and the player are properly connected.
Check if the memory space of the memory is full.
Make sure that the USB connection lines are not damaged.
6. Some of the music downloaded from the Internet can not be played
The player only supports MP3, WMA, WAV music formats, other formats of music into the format
above, then play it again
7. Player appears hang or not boot
Switch Power button to OFF position and then to ON. The player will restart again.
