Rubbing cleanser as gently as possible the stainless steel. NEVER RUB WITH A CIRCULAR MOTION. Soil and burnt deposits which do not respond to the above procedure can usually be removed by rubbing the surface with SCOTCH-BRITE scouringpads orSTAINLESS scouringpads.
Never clean any electrical unit by immersing it in water. Turn unit off before cleaning

IMMEDIATELYINSPECT FORSHIPPINGDAMAGE
All containers should be examined for damage before and during unloading. The freight carrier has assumed responsibility for its safe transit and delivery. If equipment is received damaged, either apparent or concealed, aclaim mustbe madewith the deliveringcarrier. A) Apparent damage or loss must be noted on the freight bill at the time of delivery. It must then be signed by the carrier representative (Driver). If this is not done, the carrier may refuse the claim. The carrier can supplythe necessaryforms. B) Concealed damageor lossif notapparent until afterequipment isuncrated, a request for inspectionmust be made to the carrier within 15 days. The carrier should arrange an inspection. Be certain to hold all contentsand packagingmaterial.

INSTALLATION
1 Cleanthe pumpand lidthoroughly beforeusingit thefirst time.
2 Installthe spoutthrough the smallerhole inthe lidand retainit usingnut (item 13).
Moisten the a-ring (item 6 or 13) with water or vegetable oil. Place a 1/2" ball (item 10) in the pump body valve chamber. Slide the chamber over the a-ring (item 11) and, at the same time, put the threadedend ofthe pumpbody intothe larger hole in thelid.
3 For the OTS, drop another 1/2" ball (item 10) into the pump body and drop spring (item 9)
END DOWN
(item5) andthe a-ring(items 6or 11) areassembled to the piston (item3) asshown, thentighten nut (item13) inplace.
4 For the L TS, follow #3 above but have the lever (item 19) and the link (item 17) assembled to the
piston before installing it into the pump This will give better grip on the piston assembly and makeit easierto startand tightennut (item 13).Last, using thepivot screw(item 18),connect theling (item 17 to theanchor partof thelid.

OPERATION
Asmoothstroke deliversa uniformflow.First condimentwill appearin 3-5strokes.Avoid pumping on a hear emptypan asair issucked into the pump andcan causesplattering.
CLEANING
Before this pump is used for the first time, clean the pump thoroughly with a non-chlorine based sanitizing solution which meets local and/or national health codes. Clean by running a brush through the spout and tubeto removeany dirtor manufacturingmaterial.
