M e r i t e c ’s Right Angle A G P ( A c c e l e r a t e d
Graphics Port) Connectors are the latest
addition to Meritec’s family of Card Edge
Connectors. The AGP interface has been
designed specifically for dedicated use in
high performance graphic controllers. The
Right Angle AGP Connector allows you to
add an AGP card to your system without
adding all of the extra height. The connector
is available in .400'' and .650'' stack heights,
and both .100'' and .125'' solder tails.

• Available in 1.5V, 3.3V, and universal
configurations

• Mounting clips provide retention to the
PCB during the soldering process

• Multiple card stack height options from
.400'' - .650''

• Plastic cover protects unused A G P
connectors from dust and debris and
supports connectors for hybrid soldering
applications requiring convection/IR heating

• Insert molded in liquid crystal polymer
for stability

• Designed to accept .062” A G P c a r d s

ELECTRICAL:

• Contact resistance - 15 milliohms (maximum)

• Dielectric withstanding voltage - 500 VAC
(minimum)

• Current rating - 1.0 AMP (continuous)

• Insulation resistance - >1 x 109ohms @ 500 VDC

MECHANICAL:

• Contact material - copper alloy

• Standard contact finish - selectively plated
contact surface consists of gold flash over nickel

• Retention clip - solder plated copper alloy

• Insertion force - 100 grams nominal per opposing
contact pair

• Normal force - 90 grams nominal per contact

• Dielectric material - glass filled liquid crystal
polymer (black)

ENVIRONMENTAL:

• Material - U.L. rated 94 V-0

• Temperature rating - -40°C to +105°C
