Applications
• Enclosed and gasketed xtures suitable for use in:
— Marine and wet locations
— Industrial processing
— Chemical processing
— Areas where ammable gases and vapors are present under
conditions dened by NEC Class I, Division 2; Class II,
Division 1 and 2; and Class III
• For use in areas where audible signals cannot be heard.
• Used to warn of unsafe conditions and other communication
needs.
• Fixtures are also suited for use in non-hazardous areas where
there are:
— Severe weather conditions
— Excessive moisture, dirt, dust
— Corrosive atmospheres
— High ambient temperatures are encountered
• Typical applications include:
— Pulp and paper mills
— Processing plants
— Chemical plants
— Oil reneries
— Foundries
— Manufacturing plants
— Storage areas
— Marine applications
Features
• Modern styling, with clean-line mounting hood and prismatic
glass globe, plus optional guard.
• Globe seats rmly against silicone gasket in mounting
hood to keep out dirt and moisture. Full threads eliminate “cross
threading.”
• Optional guard protects glass from damage and has
exclusive snap-on attachment feature for quick installation
and fast servicing.
• Fixtures operate safely in high ambient temperatures.
• Strobe: 65 ashes per minute. 800,000 peak candlepower.
• Fixtures are complete with lamp.
• Lens available in ve colors: red, amber, blue, green and
clear (factory installed).
• Heat- and impact-resistant globes have smooth
dust-resistant exterior.
• Fixture is suitable for mounting globe up or globe down utilizing
pendant, ceiling or wall bracket type mounts.
• Minimum operating temperature is -25 °C (-13 °F).

• Mounting hoods: copperfree (4/10 of 1% max.) aluminum
• Guards: pressure cast copperfree (4/10 of 1% max.) aluminum
• Globes: prismatic glass
