INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
STYLMASTER ENCLOSED AND GASKETED INCANDESCENT LIGHTING FIXTURE

CAUTION: This xture is designed for permanent installation in Class 1, Div. 2. Groups A, B, C and D hazardous
or wet locations in accordance with the National Electric Code and all applicable local codes.
• DO NOT use in areas of limited ventilation or in high ambient enclosure areas (above 40° C). The lamp and
xture operate at high temperatures.
• Contact with combustible material can cause re and personal contact can cause severe burns.

Mounting Hood
• Pendant style shown has set screw
to prevent xture stem from turning.
• Other styles include stanchion, ceiling and wall mounting.
1. Select and install the mounting hood in accordance
with local building codes and all applicable National
Electrical Codes.
2. Pull supply wires through conduit system and into
mounting hood. Wire coming into hood must be rated
200°C minimum.
3. Remove socket from mounting bracket by pushing up
and twisting counterclockwise to release.
• Attach black wire to center gold colored screw and
white wire to silver colored screw.
• Ground wire, if present should be secured to g r e e n
screw in hood.
4. Push wires back up into mounting hood and reinstall
socket.
5. Install lamp, be sure lamp is not over wattage for xture.
6. Install globe by threading clockwise until fully seated
against gasket.
7. Attach optional guard and / or reector if required.
• Snap-on guards and reectors - simply snap-in and
twist. (Spring action balls snap into detents of xture
body.)
• Guards lock in place by twisting clockwise.
• Reectors lock in place by twisting counterclockwise.
When both are used, install reector rst.

CAUTION:
• Disconnect power before doing any wiring.
• Install in accordance with all local codes.
• Fixture should be installed by a Qualied Electrician.
