IMPORTANT
• When installing in a hazardous location it is necessary that the optic be in place and that the unit be tightly closed.
• This fixture is designed for permanent installation in Class I, Div. 2, Class II, Div. 1 or marine locations in accordance with the
National Electric Code and all applicable local codes.
• DO NOT OPEN OR REMOVE FIXTURE WHILE IT IS ENERGIZED.
• DO NOT USE FIXTURE ON UN-GROUNDED CIRCUITS. Failure to ground this fixture can result in an electrical shock which
may be fatal.
• Optic and reflector should be cleaned periodically to maintain lighting efficiency.
• Orient hinges and latches 90° from the aiming direction desired for the angle reflector. This applies to ceiling, wall and
stanchion mounting hoods.
• All unused conduit plugs and conduit runs must have a pipe sealant applied to the threads. This will prevent water entry into
the fixture through the pipe threads.

CAUTION: Fixture with optional photocontrol or quartz auxiliary lamp does not comply with UL requirements for use in
hazardous locations.
