Applications

General purpose explosionproof lighting fixture - an A-51 fixture

with handle assembly of hook and cable clamp. CAUTION: For safe

operation, the AHL fixture weight must be supported by the hanger
hook, not by the flexible cord, per NEC 502-11(a)(3).

Wiring Instructions for AHL Portable Fixture with Mounting Hook

1. Unscrew AAU Fixture  from mounting hood 

2. Loosen 2 cable clamp assembly screws 

3. Feed cable  through hole in rubber bushing  down to
mounting hood 

4. Connect supply wires to connection block inside mounting
hood 

5. Connect ground screw with furnished green screw to mounting
hood 

6. Tighten 2 cable clamp assembly screws 

7. Screw AAU Fixture  back onto mounting hood 
