Electric NetShelter™ SX Enclosure
� Mounting the Rack PDU in a vertical 0 U accessory channel
of a NetShelter SX enclosure
In one vertical 0 U accessory channel of a 42U enclosure, you can mount
two full-length Rack PDUs or four half-length Rack PDUs.
� Mounting the Rack PDU on the vertical rails of a standard
EIA-310 enclosure
Secure brackets to the back of the rear vertical rails using hardware
included with your enclosure. Required U-space for brackets:
• Full-length Rack PDU: 36 U
• Half-length Rack PDU: 15 U

Mounting the Rack PDU in a third-party enclosure
Warning: To avoid possible electrical shock and equipment
damage, use only the supplied hardware.
Bracket spacing:
• Full-length Rack PDU: 1500 mm (59.0 in)
• Half-length Rack PDU: 575 mm (22.6 in)
Additional parts may be required:
AR7711 – NetShelter 0U Accessory Mounting Bracket
(not provided with Rack PDU)

Mounting options:
Vertical mounting rails – universal mounting brackets (provided with Rack PDU) or
vertical 0U accessory mounting bracket (AR7711)
Universal Mounting Bracket Installation:
1. Align the brackets to the u-space holes on the vertical mounting
rails
a. Ensure proper U spacing is allowed between the mounting
brackets, refer to page 1 for spacing.
2. Install 2 cage nuts in the u-space at each bracket location.
3. Install the universal mounting brackets to the rear vertical mounting
rails of the enclosure.
4. Attach the Rack PDU using the pre-installed toolless mounting pegs.
NetShelter 0U Accessory Mounting Bracket (AR7711) Installation:
1. Align the brackets to the u-space holes on the vertical mounting
rails
a. Ensure proper U spacing is allowed between the mounting
brackets, refer to page 1 for spacing.
2. Install 2 cage nuts in the u-space at each bracket location.
3. Install the universal mounting brackets to the rear vertical
mounting rails of the enclosure.
4. Attach the Rack PDU using the pre-installed toolless mounting pegs.

Toolless Mount Installation
Align the toolless mounting pegs of the Rack PDU with the mounting
holes of the rear channel.
Universal Mounting Bracket Installation:
1. Align the brackets to the u-space holes on the vertical mounting
rails
2. Ensure proper U spacing is allowed between the mounting brackets,
refer to page 1 for spacing.
3. Install 2 cage nuts in the u-space at each bracket location.
4. Install the universal mounting brackets to the rear vertical mounting
rails of the enclosure.

Universal Mounting Bracket Installation:
1. Align the brackets to the u-space holes on the vertical
mounting rails
2. Ensure proper U spacing is allowed between the mounting
brackets, refer to page 1 for spacing.
3. Install 2 cage nuts in the u-space at each bracket location.
4. Install the universal mounting brackets to the rear vertical
mounting rails of the enclosure.
5. Attach the Rack PDU using the pre-installed toolless mounting pegs.

Mounting options:
Toolless Mount - Half-height only. Full-height Rack PDUs cannot be installed in the
toolless channel as the bolts securing the toolless channel to the enclosure frame
interfere with the Rack PDU and prohibit the mounting pegs of the Rack PDU from
proper insertion into the mounting holes of the channel.
Vertical mounting rails– universal mounting brackets (provided with Rack PDU) or
vertical 0U accessory channel (AR7711)
Toolless Mount Installation
Align the toolless mounting pegs of the Rack PDU with the mounting
holes of the rear channel (half-height rack PDU only).
Universal Mounting Bracket Installation:
1. Align the brackets to the u-space holes on the vertical
mounting rails
