CONCEPT1T-KIT
Transforming CONCEPT1 into CONCEPT1T
First unplug all peripheral devices and most important, unplug the mains power supply cable.
Remove the 4 screws on top of the unit and the 4 screws on the left and right side that hold the top
cover in place. Remove the top cover. Take antistatic measures before touching any parts inside the
unit.
Switch on the lo cut filter for every channel you want to convert into 100 Volt operation by pushing
the lo cut button(s) next to the output connector at the rear of the unit. Flip off the plastic push
button(s) from the lo cut switch(es) and remove the wire jumper(s) as shown in the picture.
• MOUNT THE TRANSFORMERS • PUSH BOTH LO CUT SWITCHES IN.
Mount the transformer(s) to the chassis with the screws included and apply the sticker(s) over the
push button opening(s) at the rear of the unit. For 100 volt operation, the lo cut switch must be
pushed inwards, always ! Plug in the transformer connector(s) in the L out and /or R out connectors
of the main amplifier PCB. Put the top cover back in place.
Connect maximum 60 watts of 100 volt speaker
per output, this corresponds to an impedance of
minimum 167Ω Overloading the amplifier will
cause overheating and unreliable operation.
