NSTALLATION
Overview
Please follow these to establish your wireless network connection:
1. Install Access Point (AOI-706U) first, if the infrastructure network is required.
2. Install the Driver CD.
3. Install the USB Wireless LAN Adapter (AOI-702U).
4. Install the network protocol(S) which is required for networking communication on your network. (Most likely you will need the TCP/IP protocol.)

1. Power on your computer with WINDOWS 95(OSR2) /98/2000/ME/NT loaded
2. Make sure that there is no USB adapter inserted.
3. Insert the Installation CD. Go “USB” folder, and click on the SETUP.
4. Click “Next>” to proceed the installation.

6. Select a program folder that you would like to install the program. The default folder is AOpen Wireless LAN\AOI-702U. Once confirm, please click on NEXT.
5. Click NEXT to confirm the destination that you would like to save the files.
7. Click NEXT to confirm all the default settings. The default Operation Mode is Infrastructure mode, and the default ESSID is aopen. You may change the default setting afterwards. Please refer to Chapter 3 for configurations.
