Proper service and repair is important to the safe, reliable operation of all AOC Company Equipment. The service
procedures recommended by AOC and described in this service manual are effective methods of performing service
operations. Some of these service operations require the use of tools specially designed for the purpose. The
special tools should be used when and as recommended.
It is important to note that this manual contains various CAUTIONS and NOTICES which should be carefully read in
order to minimize the risk of personal injury to service personnel. The possibility exists that improper service
methods may damage the equipment. It is also important to understand that these CAUTIONS and NOTICES ARE
NOT EXHAUSTIVE. AOC could not possibly know, evaluate and advise the service trade of all conceivable ways in
which service might be done or of the possible hazardous consequences of each way. Consequently, AOC has not
undertaken any such broad evaluation. Accordingly, a servicer who uses a service procedure or tool which is not
recommended by AOC must first satisfy himself thoroughly that neither his safety nor the safe operation of the
equipment will be jeopardized by the service method selected.
Hereafter throughout this manual, AOC Company will be referred to as AOC.

Take care during handling the LCD module with backlight unit
-Must mount the module using mounting holes arranged in four corners.
-Do not press on the panel, edge of the frame strongly or electric shock as this will result in damage to the screen.
-Do not scratch or press on the panel with any sharp objects, such as pencil or pen as this may result in damage to
the panel.
-Protect the module from the ESD as it may damage the electronic circuit (C-MOS).
-Make certain that treatment person’s body is grounded through wristband.
-Do not leave the module in high temperature and in areas of high humidity for a long time.
-Avoid contact with water as it may a short circuit within the module.
-If the surface of panel becomes dirty, please wipe it off with a soft material. (Cleaning with a dirty or rough cloth may
damage the panel.)

2.3 How to Connect

Sistema de Cable o Sistema de Antena VHF/UHF
YPuede disfrutar de una programación digital de definición estándar y de alta definición (si está disponible en su
área), junto con la programación analógica de definición estándar.
Este televisor es capaz de recibir una programación digital decodificada proveniente de una señal de cable o de
una antena externa VHF/UHF.
Para recibir una calidad de imagen óptima, se recomienda con insistencia que conecte la antena/cable mediante un
cable coaxial de 75-ohm. La interferencia de radio frecuencia puede afectar fácilmente los cables de plomo de dos
conductores de 300 ohm, lo que resulta en una degradación de la señal.
Cable o VHF/UHF(or solo VHF)
Interfaz de alta definición
Puede disfrutar de una programación de alta definición mediante una suscripción a un servicio de alta definición por
cable o por satélite. Para obtener la mejor imagen posible, asegúrese de conectar este equipo a su televisor
mediante la entrada de HDMI o de video por componentes (con audio) en la parte posterior de tu televisor.
Conexión HDMI
Si el equipo tiene un terminal DVI y no HDMI, conecte el terminal DVI a la entrada HDMI (HDMI IN), con el cable
DVI-a-HDMI o el adaptador, y conecte el terminal de audio a las entradas de audio (PC AUDIO IN) (Sólo HDMI 1 es
compatible con audio DVI.).

Conexión del PC
Puede usar el televisor a modo de monitor para su PC, como se muestra a continuación con la conexión de HD15 a
HD15. Este televisor también se puede conectar a su PC con una salida DVI o HDMI. (Consulte la Guía de
Configuración rápida).
● Conecte el terminal PC IN a su PC mediante el cable HD15-HD15 de núcleo de ferrita (RGB analógico) y un
cable de audio.
● Si su PC está conectado al televisor y no transmite ninguna señal al televisor por más de 30 segundos, el
televisor entra automáticamente al modo de espera.
Conexión de sonido externo
● Apague el televisor AOC LCD y el Dispositivo de Sonido y conecte la toma de salida de Audio a la toma SPDIF
en la parte trasera del televisor AOC LCD.
● Conecte un cable de audio a los conectores de salida de audio asociados a la salida de audio (R/L) y SPDIF en
el televisor y conecte el otro extremo a los conectores de audio asociados a la entrada de Audio de Sonido Externo.

It’s no need to adjust the white balance for this model, do ADC only.
Step1: Turn on the TV, press “Menu”, then press number key 1 Æ 9 Æ 9 Æ 9 and “ENTER”, it will achieve the factory
mode. Take LE22H168 for example:
Step2: Change TV, press the “Current Source” to Component mode and change signal to 720P mode(TIMING 310),
Pattern 122(SMPTE BAR), press the “Auto Color”;
Step3: Change TV, press the “Current Source” to PC mode and change signal to PC TIMING 137(1024X768);
Pattern 147(16 Grays), press the “Auto Color”.

Step 1: Ready for F/W Upgrade
1.1 Prepare a USB memory (The file system of USB memory must be FAT16 or FAT 32).
1.2 Copy the file (EPI_LE22H168_USA_ZR748-A2_PCB4491-D_V1.09_20110218_72DB.ecc) you’re your
computer to the folder named “usbupdate " then copy this folder to USB memory root path, and remove it from
computer’s USB port!
Note: 1)
2) The version of this F/W is V1.09 .
3) Make sure there is only one F/W file in your USB memory.
