The type of these diodes are optional, you can use
whatever SMD/TH diodes (even LEDs) you want, they
all have different flavors, recommended is the 1n270
germanium diodes. (Experimenting is encouraged)
Look out for their orientation!

Now put on the front panel and tighten the nuts on the
jacks and pots. Align them in the holes as you like. Solder!
