INSTRUCTION FOR AUTOMATIC LEAD ACID BATTERY CHARGER ALCS 2-24 A
USE OF THE CHARGER
Automatic charger for sealed lead acid batteries 2 V up to 24 V with the capacity range from 2.4
Ah to 24 Ah.
FEATURES
For charging sealed lead acid batteries:2V, 6V, 12V or 24V
; Automatic adjustment to the correct
voltage of connected battery; For all types of sealed lead acid batteries; Protection against overload
and short circuit by current limitation;
Protection against wrong polarity by polyswitch; Charging with
IU-curve; Suitable for float charging; Trickle charge approx 20mA
DISPLAY
LED red on: charging of the battery
LED red off: end of charging / trickle charging
LED green: after connecting the battery one of the 4 green LED
´s indicates the voltage of the connected
battery. If no battery is connected the LED for 24 V will light.
ATTENTION
Only for charging rechargeable lead acid batteries. Do not charge other types of batteries Danger of explosion!
COMMISSIONING
Connect the battery with the battery clips. Pay attention to the correct polarity. The black one with
-, the red one with +. Plug the charger into a convenient mains socket. If no battery is connected the
green LED for 24 V will light. After connecting the battery, the charger switches automatically to the
right voltage and the charging procedure will start. The red LED indicates charging. After charging
the red charging LED switches off and the battery is provided with trickle charging. The battery is now
fully charged and ready for use.
WARNING
When charging lead acid cells, explosive gases can develop. Avoid open fire and sparks.
TIP
Do not carry out any cleaning if the charger is plugged in. Only use a dry cloth to clean the charger.
Do not use the charger if the housing is damaged. Chargers that require repair must be sent to
authorised service agents or dealers.
CAUTION
Keep your charger in a dry place (indoor use only). Never try to open the charger. Danger of fire
and electric shock!

FUNKTIONSÜBERSICHT
Es können Bleiakkus mit 2 V; 6 V; 12 V; 24 V geladen werden, die jeweilige Spannung stellt sich
automatisch ein

ANZEIGEN
1 x LED rot: durch Leuchten dieser Anzeige wird der Ladevorgang des Ger
ätes angezeigt. Wenn die
Ladeleuchte erlischt ist der Akku geladen.
4 x LED gr
ün: Nach Kontaktieren des Akkus leuchtet eine dieser 4 LED auf, entsprechend der
Spannung des angeschlossenen Akkus, im Leerlauf leuchtet die 24 Volt-LED.
VORSICHT
Nur wiederaufladbare Blei-Akkus laden, bei anderen Batterien besteht „Explosionsgefahr!“
INBETRIEBNAHME
Den zu ladenden Akku polrichtig mit Hilfe der Polklemmen kontaktieren. Die schwarze Polklemme
mit dem Minuspol (-) verbinden. Die rote Polklemme mit dem Pluspol (+) des Bleiakkus verbinden.
Das Gerät in die Netzsteckdose einstecken. Wenn kein Akku kontaktiert ist, und das Gerät sich am
Netz befindet leuchtet die grüne LED (24 Volt). Nach erfolgter Kontaktierung stellt sich das Gerät
automatisch auf die Ausgangsspannung des kontaktierten Akkus ein und der Ladevorgang startet. Die
rote LED zeigt den Ladevorgang an. Nach erfolgter Ladung erlischt die rote Ladekontrolleuchte. Der
Akku wird nach dem Ladevorgang weiterhin mit einem Erhaltungsladestrom gepuffert. Ist die rote Lade
LED erloschen, ist der Akku geladen, und kann vom Ladegerät getrennt werden.
BEREITSCHAFTS- UND PARALLEL-BETRIEB
Wenn aufgrund eines angeschlossenen Verbrauchers der Ladezustand des Akkus zurückgeht, beginnt
das Gerät automatisch mit der Nachladung des Akkus.
WARNUNG
Beim Laden von Blei-Akkus k
önnen explosive Gase entstehen. Bitte für ausreichend Belüftung sorgen,
und Feuer bzw. offenes Licht vermeiden.
PFLEGE
Reinigungsarbeiten nur durchf
ühren, wenn das Gerät vom Netz genommen wurde. Reinigung des
Gerätes nur mit einem trockenen Tuch vornehmen. Gerät bei Beschädigung des Gehäuses oder
des Netzsteckers nicht in Betrieb nehmen. Bei Defekt wenden Sie sich bitte an den autorisierten
Fachhandel.
SICHERHEITSHINWEIS
Das Ladegerät darf nur in geschlossenen, trockenen Räumen betrieben werden. Um Brandgefahr bzw.
die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages auszuschließen ist das Gerät vor Feuchtigkeit zu schützen.

LED vert:
après branchement de la batterie un des 4 LEDS vert indique le voltage de la batterie. Si la
batterie n’est pas connectée, le LED 24V s’allume.
ATTENTION
Charge uniquement les batteries rechargeables au plomb. Ne pas charger d’autres types de
batteries - Danger d’explosion!
UTILISATION
Connecter la batterie avec les pinces. Faire attention
à la polarité. Le noir avec le -, le rouge avec le
+. Brancher le chargeur dans la prise appropri
ée. Si la batterie n’est pas connectée, le LED vert 24
V s’allume. Après branchement de la batterie, le chargeur s’allume automatiquement vers le voltage
approprié et le processus de charge commence. Le LED rouge signale la charge. En fin de charge, le
LED rouge s’
éteint et la batterie est alimentée par une charge d’entretien. La batterie est maintenant
chargée et prête à l’utilisation.
AVERTISSEMENT
Lorsque vous chargez des batteries au plomb, des gaz explosifs peuvent s’
échapper. Éviter le feu
et étincelles.
ENTRETIEN
Ne pas nettoyer le chargeur s’il est branché. Utiliser uniquement un chiffon sec pour le nettoyage.
Ne pas utiliser le chargeur si le bo
îtier est endommagé. Les chargeurs à réparer doivent être retourné
dans les centres autorisés.
PRÉCAUTIONS
Garder votre chargeur dans un endroit sec (utilisation uniquement à l’int
érieur). Ne jamais ouvrir le
chargeur. Danger de feu et de chocs électriques !

ISTRUZIONI D‘USO
UTILIZZO DEL CARICABATTERIE
Caricabatterie automatico per accumulatori al Piombo ermetico con tensioni comprese fra 2 volt e 24
volt e con una capacità compresa fra 2,4 - 24 Ah; Possono essere ricaricati accumulatori al piombo
ermetico con tensioni di 2 V; 6 V; 12 V; 24 V con regolazione automatica della tensione; Indicato per
tutti gli accumulatori al Pb; Protezione elettronica contro le inversioni di polarità; Controllo ellettronico
delle sov raccariche, cortocircuiti con un limitatore di corrente; Ciclo di carica con curva IU; Indicato
per utilizzo in parallelo; Carica di mantenimento automatica ca 20mA
INDICATORI LUMINOSI
1 x LED rossi:
se è illuminato indica che il ciclo di carica è in corso. Lo spegnimento indica che
l‘accumulatore è carico.
4 x LED verde: Dopo aver collegato l‘accumulatore uno di questi Led si illumina a seconda della
tensione dell‘accumulatore. A vuoto si illumina il LED.
ATTENZIONE
Ricaricare solo accumulatori al piombo gelatinoso Con altri tipi di batterie sussiste il rischio di
esplosioni.
MODO D’USO
Inserire il caricabatterie nella spina di rete. Se non è collegato nessun accumulatore e il collegamento
con la rete è corretto, si accende il Led verde (24V). Collegate correttamente i due morsetti
all‘accumulatore. Il morsetto nero con il polo (-) e il morsetto rosso con il polo (+). Se il collegamento
è corretto, il caricabatterie eroga automaticamente la tensione dell‘accumulatore e il ciclo di carica,
indicato dall‘accensione del Led rosso, inizia. Al termine del ciclo di carica, il Led rosso si spegne e
l‘accumulatore riceve automaticamente una carica di mantenimento sino al suo effettivo utilizzo. Se il
Led rosso è spento, l‘accumulatore è carico e può essere scollegato dal caricabatterie.
FUNZIONAMENTO IN PARALLELO
Se un accumulatore collegato con il caricabatterie perde parte della carica, l‘apparecchio
automaticamente provvede a ricaricare nuovamente l‘accumulatore.
ATTENZIONE
Durante la ricarica di accumulatori Pb si possono sviluppare gas esplosivi. Provvedete a arieggiare i
locali e a non avvicinare a fiamme libere.
MANUTENZIONE
La pulizia del caricabatterie deve avvenire solo quando è scollegato dalla rete . Utilizzare solo un
panno asciutto. In caso di danni all‘involucro o al cavo di alimentazione dell‘apparecchiatura non
utilizzarla. In caso di non funzionamento, portare il caricabatterie al centro assistenza autorizzato.
CONSIGLI DI SICUREZZA
Il caricabatteria può essere utilizzato solo in ambienti chiusi e asciutti. Proteggere il caricabatterie
dall‘umidità per evitare rischi elettrici e di incendio.
