(1) Features

(3) Battery Installation
- First to install the battery of Home Unit 2pcs AAA.
- Open the battery door of Rain gauge by screwdriver, insert 2pcs AA battery and close it with screwdriver. It should be placed near the Home unit.
- It is important to install the battery for Home unit first in order to have a good reception for the signal for registration.
(4) Registration :
(a) Automatic Registration started after installation of battery for both rain gauge and home unit. The LCD of home unit will show zero 0 or a number for the rainfall if registration success. Otherwise, please re-install the batteries of the Rain gauge again.
(b) You can cancel the registration by pressing and holding the button “+” for 3 seconds. The LCD will show flashing - - - -.
(5) Place of Rain Gauge
In order to have precise reading, you are highly recommended to put the rain gauge on horizontal place, no rock or other thing on the ground. Besides, there should be no any obstacle around the gauge within 3m such as building, trees, house and etc, which will affect the reading of the rain gauge.
Noted : You need to change the position of Rain Gauge if the rainfall shows "- - - -". It means that the reception of signal fail in last hour, which may be affected by other signal or interference.
(6) Setting for Home unit :
Before any setting, check the home unit is worked properly and receipt the signal from the Rain gauge. If reception is successful, the LCD will show the data information for rainfall either zero or a number. If show flashing - - - - , it means reception failure. Then you need to re-install the battery again for Home unit (follow #8).
If all OK, you need to reset the readings of Home unit by pressing button +. Afterward, you can set the time according to the following steps :
Press Set button and hold 3 seconds to enter TIME SETTING mode To adjust the time by pressing "+ or “-" buttons (You can hold the button for fast
advance/fast backward)
Setting sequence: 12/24 hr -> year -> month -> day -> hour -> minute -> press
set to confirm within a few seconds.
(7) Mode & units for Rainfall :
(a) Mode for per week”/ “per month/ ”accumulated rainfall
Press - button for selection
(b) Mode for units (mm/ inch)
Press and hold - button for 3 seconds to select the units (mm/ inch)
(8) Changing Battery of Rain Gauge & Home unit
If you find the reception of the signal
(1) Rain Gauge : If the unit is out of power, please first cancel the registration of Home unit before changing battery (follow the procedure (4b) mentioned in above), which is to make sure the rain gauge can be registered after changing battery. Then you can start to change the battery for the rain gauge.
(2) Home Unit : Change the battery and then follow the steps (3) in the beginning for setting and registration.
