INSTALLATION
Within the LED panel there is a pre-cut area of the reflective paper. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THIS SECTION.
Note – This product is compatible with the Ansell AIRMLED/ and AERMLED/ ONLY.
Electrical Connection
Please Note :-
being installed.
Remove the coin plug from the back of the AIRMLED/ or AMERLED LED panel. Select the desired detection area and time delay. Please see below details of the dial selection.
Distance / Sensitivity Time Delay
Distance / Sensitivity – Rotating the dial anti-clockwise will increase the detection area radius from 1M minimum to 10M
maximum.
Time Delay – Rotating the dial anti-clockwise will increase time delay from 8 seconds (walk test) minimum to 20 minutes
maximum. Note: The sensor will take 1 second to detect another object once the sensor has switched off.
Connect the POD to the plug at the back of the LED panels and rotate clockwise fixing the POD into position. Ensure the installation location provides adequate distance from water pipes, electrical cables, ceiling joists or any other
structural obstacles.
Connect the incoming supply cable to the supply lead of the POD. Ensuring correct polarity is observed (please see below for
electrical connections).
Connect as follows:- PERMANENT LIVE (L) BROWN (Continuous) SWITCHED LIVE (L1) BLACK (Driver / Slaves) NEUTRAL (N) BLUE EARTH GREEN / YELLOW
Connect the outgoing L1 connection to the primary live supply terminal of the driver / slave luminaires. More than one AIRMLED/POD/MWS sensor can be installed onto the same circuit to activate numerous LED panels from one
position. Additional AIRMLED/POD/MWS need to be connected on parallel.
Install the AIRMLED/ or AERMLED/ - Please see instructions for the AIRMLED/ or AERMLED/. Offer the LED panel into the aperture.
Do NOT cover with thermal insulation. Recommended mounting height = 2.5M-3M. 5A Maximum Current Rating. Installing the AIRMLED/POD/SENSOR in conjunction with an AIRMLED/ or AMERLED/ will increase the overall height to 56mm
