Your new Amtel -3088 WCTS utilizes the latest state of the art solid-state circuit to provide years of reliable, trouble-free service. However, for best performance it must be properly installed and operated.
We urge you to read this instruction manual thoroughly before operating this unit. This manual is a valuable part of your new WCTS. After the unit is installed and operating properly, store the manual in a safe place.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Save these instructions for later use.
2. Unplug the WCTS from the car cigarette lighter before cleaning. Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
3. Use only attachments recommended by Amtel.
4. Do not use this WCTS near water, I.E.; near a bathtub, sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool, ect.
5. Do not place this WCTS on an unstable surface, stand or table. WCTS may fall, causing serious damage to the WCTS.
6. Slots and openings in the cabinet at the back or bottom are provided for ventilation and to protect the WCTS from overheating. These openings must not be blocked or covered. This WCTS should ne ver be placed near or over a radiator or heater. This WCTS should not be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase unless proper ventilation is provided.
7. This WCTS should be operated only from the type of power source recommended by Amtel
8. Do not allow anything to rest on the power cord when connected to the car cigarette lighter. Do not place the WCTS where individuals may step on the cord. Stepping on the cord may result in damage to the cord.
9. Follow all warning and instructions marked on the WCTS.
10. Never push objects of any kind into this WCTS through cabinet slots as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts that could results in fire or electric shock. Never spill liquid of any kind on the WCTS.
11. Do not attempt to service th e WCTS yourself. Opening or removing covers may expose you to dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
12. Unplug this WCTS from the car cigarette lighter or battery pack and refer to qualified service personnel under the following conditions.
a. When the power supply plug is
damaged or frayed.
b. If liquid has been spilled into
the WCTS.
c. If the WCTS does not operate
normally by following the operating instructions.
d. If the WCTS had been dropped
and the unit does not wo rk or the casing has been damaged.
13. When replacement parts are required,
be sure the service technician has issued replacement parts specified by the manufacturer that have the same characteristics as the original part. UNAUTHORIZED substitutions may result in fire, electric shock, or other hazards.
14. All warranty becomes void if any of the
system’s units is dropped or mechanically abused.

1. Power On/ Off Switch – Slide switch down to turn power ON and up to turn power OFF.
2. Volume Control – Turn the control to desired listening level.
3. Contrast Control – Adjust this control to desired contrast level.
4. Brightness Control – Adjust this control to change overall brightness of the picture.
5. DC 12V Input jack – When you want to use your unit in a car or recreational vehicle, connect the DC plug from the CAR CORD into the DC 12V input jack and the other end into the car cigarette lighter of your vehicle.

POWER SUPPLY
Battery Operation of the LCD Monitor Unit
1. The unit will run for approximately 2-3 hours when fully charged and battery is new.
2. To charge the unit use a 12V car cigarette adapter cord.
3. You can also charge while using the unit, it will take about 3-4 hours to fully charge
the battery. When the unit is being used, it will be about one hour longer than when the unit is off.
4. Remove plug from cigarette light receptacle when not in use.
Notes:
1. This product is designed to operate on 12V car voltage system.
2. When the battery power is low, the picture will become dimmer.
3. The battery operating time and efficiency decrease at extreme low and extreme high
temperatures (unit is not designed to be operated below 32°F and above 115°F).
CAUTION
Only use the adapters included with this unit or those approved by Amtel. An incorrect adapter may damage your unit and void our applicable warranty. An incorrect AC/DC adapter will lengthen the charging time or damage the unit if the voltage is too high.

OPERATING PROCEDURES
WCTS OPERATION
1. Remove unit from box.
2. Secure the LCD monitor to the car headrest with straps, secure tightly.
3. Place the VCP on a solid base so that it will not tip over or fall.
4. Slide the Power On/Off Switch to the “ON” position to turn the power ON for the LCD monitor.
5. Press the Power On/Off button on the VCP to turn the power ON for the VCP.
6. Insert tape into VCP.
7. Press the play button to start the tape.
8. Adjust the volume for proper level of comfort.
9. To turn the WCTS off, press stop on the VCP.
10. Press eject to remove videotape.
11. Press the Power button on the VCP to Shut the VCP off. **
12. Slide the Power button to the Off position to shut off the LCD Monitor.
** To avoid a stuck tape, always eject tape first before unplugging the VCP unit.
Other Controls:
Volume, Brightness, and Contrast. Refer to page 6.
Note:
1. Because of the radio transmission, this unit is subject to noise interferences. This can occur when this unit is moved around or an object moves between the VCP and the LCD monitor. When the VCP and the LCD unit are fixed relative to each other, the signal quality will be the best. **
2. When the battery LED flashes on the LCD display it is time to charge the LCD battery. Just plug the 12V Car adapter to the LCD display to start the charging process. It takes about 2-3 hours to charge the battery depending on the battery condition.
3. The LCD disp lay may be charged while being used. The charging time will then be 3-4 hours.
4. Make sure the LCD display’s power is OFF before storing it away.
5. There are two headphone jacks A and B, one jack cuts off the speaker sound completely. **Sometimes when an interference noise occurs, ask the viewer to move his body just slightly left or right a couple of inches. This will eliminate the problem.

MAINTENANCE
We offer the following suggestions so you will enjoy this product for many years to come.
Do not store in hot areas. High temperatures can shorten the life of electronic devices, damage batteries, and can even distort or melt certain plastics.
Do not drop your product. This will likely result in failure to operate. Circuit boards can crack and the cases may not survive the impact. Handling your product roughly will

Do not use harsh chemicals or strong cleaning solvents to clean the unit. All that you need to use is a slightly moist, never wet cloth.

TROUBLESHOOTING CHART
If your WCTS set fails to operate properly, check the following points before seeking service.
