* The Amphenol AssembleTech DP2DVI-SL is a video adapter cable that simplifies display connectivity and delivers long
solutions which replace DVI out put connections requirements from your system.
* Before you begin to install the adapter insure that the power is turned off on the system as well as the video display.
In addition verify that your video graphic card is compatible with the adapter. This is determined by verifying that the card supports
Dual-mode Devices in addition to Display Port. At times an indicator may be used for this purpose which involves the
symbol "++" in conjunction with the Display Port logo.
Step 1: Identify the correct port on the graphics card on the back of your system and insert the adapter
in the to DP port so that it is fully inserted and the two locking latches of the adapter have
engaged fully in to place.
Step 2: Insure that the DVI cable has one end connected to the display, then take the other end of the cable
and connect it to the remaining end of the adapter. Insure that both screws are fully secured on the
DVI cable connector against the adapter connector.
Step 3: Power up your system and video panel and verify that everything is working properly.
* There is no software driver required for the adapter for as long as the graphic card is compatible with Dual-mode
Devices as described above.

authority to operate the equipment. In order for an installation of this product to maintain compliance with the limits for a class B device, shielded cables and power cord must be
used.
