The installation instructions provided are for the Amico standard products. Slight modications
to the installations may be required. The product shipped to the job site may not be exactly as
shown on the installation drawings.
Before Installation

Headwall installation should conform to local building codes
1.
Review a copy of the nal approved shop drawing(s) and/or submittal package. These
documents will provide you with technical information specic to your installation, such as:
- equipment types and quantities
- room numbers and location
- shop drawings of each unit type
- wiring diagrams and rough-in locations

Locate the headwall unit from the shipping boxes that you wish to install. The contents of each
shipping box are listed on the shipping document(s).

Caution
Do not rest the cabinet on its movable bottom tray. Always lay cabinet on its back to avoid
damage.
1.
Secure the LDR metal frame to the wall structure. Use hardware (by others) compliant to
applicable building codes. Holes in mounting frame are to be drilled according to wall structure
(stud) location. Back plate is also recommended.

Make all rough-in connections between wall and LDR frame for piping and electrical services.
Electrical services are terminated at junction boxes, and gas terminations are located according
to rough-in drawings (provided) to facilitate installation.

Secure the LDR hanging bracket to the wall (see Detail below).
Hang the cabinet over the frame. Center the cabinet on the frame. Cabinet openings on the left

and rights sides should match with boxes on the frame.
Make all connections between light (if applicable) and bottom cabinet tray micro switches.

Wiring is labeled to facilitate electrical connections.

Have all front access panels for your unit ready. Pull all electrical devices out of the boxes. Put
one access panel on the cabinet and match the cut-outs with the device positions. Repeat for
the other panels. Adjust cabinet position, if needed, to ensure proper alignment.
Holding the front panel in the correct position, surface mount the devices in place and then

secure the cover to the cabinet. Drill pilot holes and attach with hardware provided.

Install device cover plates.

Insert trim caps where necessary.
10.
Install any accessories using hardware provided (if applicable).
