The American Fibertek MXB-6p-PoE Series transmits and receives (4)
copper 10/100 BaseTX Ethernet signals at the RJ45 ports and (2) 1000
Base-X over copper or fiber.

The MXB-6p-PoE Series also sources po wer to devices from the RJ45 ports
over the copper connection. All 4 RJ45 ports may be used to deliver dc power
(802.3af 15 watts) to PoE devices. Two RJ45 ports may be used to deliver dc
power (802.3at 30 watts) to PoE+ devices. An optional external 48V power
supply input terminal block is available.

The system is designed to be completely transparent with auto negotiation
features which automatically configures the unit for the correct speed (10/100
Base-TX). Auto MDI/MDIX operation eliminates the potential need for
crossover cables. Diagnostic indicators provide a quick visual indication of
system status.
