The American Fibertek Series ECT-4-PoE+ transmitter solution allows
for the utilization of existing coax cable infrastructure to support bidirectional data from ECR-X-PoE receivers. Up to 4 IP cameras or other
network devices may be connected and consolidated onto 1 coax
interface. The power supply provides PoE or PoE+ power for up to 4 IP
cameras. The PoE power supply is ordered separately.
The AFI Series ECT-4-PoE+ and compatible ECR-X-PoE+ receivers
provide a coaxial link supporting the Ethernet transmission of up to 4 IP
devices onto a single coax cable. The system can quickly turn any
ordinary RG59/U coax cable into an IP network communication path.
The units packaging are constructed of black anodized aluminum with
corrosion resistant finish. LED indicators show the status and activity of
network communications.
The AFI Series ECT-4-PoE+ system is designed to be completely
transparent to the network. Simply connect your network devices to the
networking ports on the transmitter and receiver and, using with existing
coaxial cable infrastructure, the system begins communicating.
