Go Beyond Standard Video Streaming
The ability to remotely view video is an integral aspect of any video management
system. Unfortunately, with high-resolution cameras providing larger video streams
and limited bandwidth available on internal or external networks, the capabilities
to transmit video to remote clients successfully are often inadequate. Video
transcoding dynamically adjusts video stream properties such as frame rate and
resolution to better adapt to available network bandwidth resources. Utilizing video
transcoding results in an improved user experience when viewing video from a
remote client.
Add Bandwidth Where It Matters
The Tyco Transcoder adds an additional 14 transcoding streams to Network Video
Recorders (NVR). Adding multiple transcoders to an NVR provides the scalability to
meet live video streaming requirements while maintaining a small form factor that
can be easily deployed in a variety of environments.
